Could you please tell me how to propagate a rose tree?
Last year one little branch was accidentally clipped, i planted that small branch and it was growing, now I do not know if it survived the harsh winter of Ontario, Canada Now the tree main rose tree is growing like mad inside, and i want to make a few rose trees from clippings. I wish to know what to do in order to succeed
I have the VERY same kind of tree in my landscaping, and I cannot find a video that shows how to prune these kind of roses, they are all based on the more "bush" type. any kind of insight on that would be greatly appreciated!
Hi, do you know how to make a tree rose like this? Did you cut the rose and put it on a top of some stem and wait until it root? If yes, what kind of stem should I use?
Can you make a video to make a beautiful tree rose?
@pinksmiaka Good question! Im not sure what kind of root stock this is, but the top is a Knock Out Rose and it has done great! It does get a tad large though, like the one in the video, and will need pruning quite often to keep it smaller around. or else it tends to fall over from the weight.
In this case, The Knock Out rose is actually grafted onto a seperate 'tree form' rose stalk with roots. So, If the top dies (the Knock Out dies) but the root and trunk may live b/c it is a completely seperate rose (usually one does not know the variety of the trunk and roots if purchased in a store). Great question!
W@W! very Lovely Roses! now I know why it's called Knock Out Roses!hehe...Knocked down;).
But realy I can't wait to see my Knock Out Roses be delivered...sigh*...I find a websight blog about roses and about this rose that is so tough and hard! That's why I search in the internet shopping coz it's not available here in some stores so lucky to find it!...Beautiful Yard!
Thanks! I have 4 videos so far on the Knock Out roses.. 2 of them show pruning when they have leaves on them, one is this staking and the other is the Japanese Beetles on the rose. Glad you like the Knock outs! melissa

Is the tree form of the Knockout a different variety than the regular Knockout, or is it a Knockout bush that has been trained in a tree form?
