Im a verry big halo fan and i see some messups in your story. the forrunner home world was destroyed by 5 halos when all 11 were doct there for the master builders trial. a forrunner left there with 6 halos. but the other 5 went off because the last precurer and a roge moneter with a green eye took them over.
The Covenant technology is based on old Forerunner technology, that is why the Covenant worship the Forerunner's (and their structures). So to say that ship looks like a Covenant ship might be correct, but you also have to consider that it might be Forerunner.

I have a feeling that Halo 4 is going to be some kind of action adventure game with only sentinels and forerunner tech fighting cheif or something. It would be way too contrived to bring the covenant back, and seeing as how he destroyed the Gravemind, the flood would be ridiculous. It looks very strongly to me though, that the new planet we are on is the same planet from Halo Wars.
My prediction is that this "Homeworld" is actually a giant device built by the forerunners to preserve their race. I haven't read the Forerunner books yet but I've seen people talking about a surviving Precursor (someone also mentioned here). If you aren't sure of how they're described, look it up. The description seems to fit the image in the video.

I think the ship my have been the Spirit of Fire because after they all went into cryo their ship was lost in space. And I also think that there is a possibility of 4 other spartans e.g. The three spartans from the Spirit of Fire and jun. why would ANY of the weapons be different from Halo: CE? The real world logistical nightmare of developing, producing, distributing, & training deployed soldiers on the new weapons, on both sides. I think the ship my have been the Spirit of Fire because after they all went into cryo their ship was lost in space. And I also think that there is a possibility of 4 other spartans e.g. The three spartans from the Spirit of Fire and jun. Even though the chances of this seems highly unlikely its still a pretty good guess. And the planet looks similar the one in wars

Said on another video some things here and first, the side fiction I am not quite as up on but what I do know and gather. First is the ship from halo wars, cannot remember the name off hand. Visually the same I believe. (I need to play it again, darn memory). Not the Chief's because he was only the drive section, got split. As stated, covenant only reversed and use forerunner tech, no their own. Most of what we see is probably forerunner. General concensus is it will be a shield world,

correct me if im wrong but the purpose of shield worlds was to be protected from halo yes? so why would they make shield worlds if they weren't planning on protecting themselves. In the books there is supposed to be like 1 or 2 forerunners left. Also some of the ships you said were UNSC, some are up close and u can see logos but others are far away shots, are they UNSC or forerunner? Afterall the human race are the inheritors of the forerunner legacy, itd make sense if their ships were similar

The forerunners killed themselves trying to kill the flood, we all know that. But if you watched halo legends, it says that the monitors (or some other forerunner creation) sent samples of the different species in the different planets, and once again creating life as we know it. But what if that thing that has a blue glow is another forerunner creation much like Onyx wherein there is a planet within that outer shell? And what if the forerunners also put samples of

I think that the arbiter had a big role in halo.
I think that The Master Chief should be surrounded by the enemy (as far as I've heard the "darkness") and there are hundreds. Then Something is shooting at the darkness and it flees (only about 50 are left.)
