from what i can gather you can't get cbc outside of canada unless it's either picked up by antenna or you live in detroit .. i don't understand why .. you can get abc, cbs, nbc, pbs, fox, upn, a&e, cnn, etc. (not hbo, sho or tnt) on cable/satellite here in canada.

It's simple, Americans are ignorant and don't care; they don't want to know anything about us, but we have to put up with all their sh** thrown at us all the time. You know what? I don't mind it all that much, because having their politics and history shoved in my face means I'm not ignorant. Plus, I think if they got more of the CBC and watched a little more Rick Mercer they might start plans for invasion. :P Because obviously they wouldn't like our jokes about them, I'm sure.
