  • good muy weenaa

  • memories of listening to this album at night when my parents were telling me "turn it off and go to sleep"! Just beautiful music

  • NOW...WE ARE BACK TO THE EARTH...

FROM THE BEAUTIFUL JOURNEY TO THE GALAXY.

    HE IS TALKING TO US.......

  • People who have died and have never listen to JMJ music, I think it may have lost something great !!!

  • Bliss

  • i love it !!!

  • I absolutely agree with all other comments. JMJ RULES!!

  • cudowny utwór, Jarre to Beethoven naszych czasów, wybiega muzyką ponadczasowo! piękne!!!!!!!

  • Płyta urocza ,bajka ,czarowny utwór......

  • GENIUS! nothing more to be said

  • I first heard it when i was 17, i´m 47 now, and i am still in ow, i am still baffled, he plays my emotions as if he was playing the violin and my nerves were the strings...

  • Memories ... 1st 1st 1st

  • Simply brilliant

  • Divine! Greeting from Serbia!

  • It takes me to another world, in skies and heaven

  • Most of this music on equinoxe was made by jean michel on a dutch electronic organ called"" EMINENT UNIQUE 310'', and additionally some sinthesizer.

The organ is from the 1970 aera,it is not fabricated anymore, but you can still buy it second hand, it is a collectors item.

  • It always will be my best childhood remind

  • @Andioret1983

Good words, I know and feel what you mean. :)

  • This is music

  • 11 people are faggots.

  • JMJ ..so far ahead of his time....mesmerising and I am 13 in a room with a 33 playing with the arm back so it can repeat again and again and again..the music I love the most and my guilty secret

  • @smeeklar not guilty, not a secret.. to those who matter anyway. share your gift

  • Have you ever seen Cosmos series in the 80's?

That is the reason I always associate Jarre to space, and the reason I love (because I feel as music) the astronomy.

Jarre and Carl Sagan, a very good mixture for ears and brains.

Jarre, god of Music....

  • Jarre. The Best. The End. :-)

  • Well interesting as I paint with lyrics with someone who creates Artwork.

  • This Music is so much me, I want to write words for it as I'm a lyricist by profession. A real challenge to begin to even touch this feeling.

  • @MickyBuchanan

Funny... Makes me want to paint.

  • @Metastate12 I was just thinking the same thing as I listened to 'oxygene' for first time in many years!

  • I was eleven when i first heard this. Now i hear it again - got goosebumbs all over my body and i am eleven again. This melody kicks me into a different world where there is no time.

  • @Kommentaraccount Same here. I listened to this in bed one night and forgot time existed...

  • @Kommentaraccount

I heard it when I was young too, my dad played it for me :) goodtimes

  • @PochemuPochemu I too heard this as a child.

  • When I first heard this album, it was hard to listen to anything else afterwards.

  • @hard2start427 I had that! The concerts in china LP was all I played for a long time, I spent each song waiting for this one. Still gives me goosebumps.

  • @beelzibubbles Yes! Today's music doesn't have the same feeling. Amazing what such "primitive" technology (by today's standards) can deliver in the hands & mind of a truly creative artistic genius. Even with all the advancements etc, nothing comes close to these albums, for me. Very special indeed.

  • I can imagine it in a Nintendo in-game music, very reminds me Monster Party ( 1989 Bandai)

  • 7 people love the fucked up Jonas Brothers, and Hanna Montana

  • heavenly,yet not cheesy...good!

  • the second part of this piece is a pure genious descriptive music: We suddenly arrive in a industrial port of the old Europe in the 19th century: the port covered by dark clouds and lightly rain; the bell that make imminent the departude of the boat to a new era or horizon (part4), The boat's leaving, the lands sligtly get farther, with windy waves of nostalgy of leaving the land and lonelyness...

  • This music is like a dashboard of a Citroen BX! Full of little lights and pockets, making sense the more you get used to it and so very French in this way, so charming, wish I could write this with French accent!

  • best music ever

  • This song, it was....it was my lullaby at night. The magnifical sounds of synthesizers..

I say: close your eyes and dream.......

Thank you for everything Jean Michel Jarre !!!!

  • an artist, a genius...

  • great track, one you dont hear him play live on concert.

  • Great :)

  • What JMJ did from the beginning (les granges brûlées OST & "Desert Palace") 'til "En Attendant Cousteau" is good. What comes after is just pure shit

  • @Haeresiarchonte To me "oxygene 7-13" is far to be "pure shit", sorry. One of his best ones. A much better album than Revolutions or Rendez-vous, or better than "en attendant Cousteau". Some tracts from "metamorphoses" are really good too. "Sessions2000" is very surprising coming from Jarre but still is a good electro-jazzy album; the same for "geometry of love" which is one of the best lounge music album.

  • great Jean Michel Jarre<3:)))love his music its so relaxin...

  • the first minute of this track, as the tension rises is great.. i could listen to it over and over again

  • In the early 80s, my dentist used to give his patients headphones with Jean-Michel Jarre's "Oxygene" and "Equinoxe" to listen to while he worked on their teeth. It really helped.

  • I can see his influences in the music of Yanni, Kitaro and Enya. This is one of my favourite tracks.

  • mezmerizingly memorable

  • timeless!!!!

  • Awesomw when u just listenen to it ...he is the gr8

  • this music was the first music i ever listened that i can remember

thanks to this i like the music that i like...

  • a surreal landscape

  • I have loved his music for 25 years and will love it for 25 more thanks JMJ

  • Guys, this will come up as so freaking silly, but I would like to ask, why every time I listen to Equinoxe Pt. 3 I feel I am traveling to another world with my heart filled with enourmous nostalgia?

  • @BillyElf It is the law of one calling to you. Part of the divine source, the vibrations send forth their strings of love to show you your multi-dimensionality. This life is one of infinitely many. The lessons here are to learn love to the self or love to the other self. Beyond dreams, sweet mirages echo their blissful meanings.

  • Wtf? how the hell could five people NOT like this and give it a thumbs down? That is simply beyond belief......they must be tone deaf aswell as dead......sad people. Must be awful knowing nothing about REAL music...you have my pity.

  • jmj the best

  • My boyfriend introduced me to of JMJarre’s music. Spending nights listening was like flying through a galaxy of music. . I've so much thank him for, that music reminding me. He couldn’t help hurting me, had his coming-out at 19 yet never found happiness. How I wished he had met someone. Now, he's lives in a desolated state of mind dissociating himself from others, a once gentle nature forever buried beneath bitterness. My tears for you, Oliver you will always have a place in my heart.

  • i herd he have maked a "plade" there only ben balyed 1 time and burned after. do anyone knows where i can here that .. ;D

  • @NicolajGHOST you mean music for supermarkets.

  • This piece of music has very special memories attached to it for me. I first heard it when I was a child and loved it from the moment I first heard it. I don't know why but it reminds me of space and the stars... and living amongst them.

  • @TheYouuTubeRipper I listened to as a child and never forget. And listen makes me think of the universe. Distance. Infinite. Depth.

  • @Sugtz I have the same to say... all the universe is just there to be heard

  • the best music ever!

  • Equinoxe opus 1 through 4 may be Jean michel´s best work without underestimating the rest of his brilliant work!!!

  • Mesmerizing music! Great for meditating to! :-)

  • The best part of the album ! <3

  • Always preferred this album to Oxygene

  • a real genius in this power jean michelle

France gives birth again our great men

  • cosmic breeze

  • i was 12 years old first time i heard this part, it left me in awe

  • the good time when electronic music was still a real composer's music and not a dj's "dancefloor" one as it is conisered to be now.

  • @fab7606 I'm an 18 year old guy and know Jean Michel Jarre from when my dad used to play his LPs when I was young. I know some current artists that I consider to be actually creative rather then working from a commercial point of view. They aren't very well-known though and their style is more modern then JMJ's. Honestly nobody can match his relaxing style.

  • the father all good electronic musicians

  • This is (only) studio genre music, ultra-rafined sound -NOt best for (open-air like rock music) concerts. I wish JMJ more prolific in studio new albums, and less concerts

  • This can't be beter...

  • awesome ,,,like a trip to space.

  • Heard this on a canadian science show called Wonder Struck, I think it was called, in 1989, and was talking about dust, and how most dust we have is form space, and this song played while the host talked about it

  • El-P sampled this song for Squeegee Man Shooting.

  • I love it..... Makes me go back to past good years of my life... Brings a lot good memories and makes me forget everything bad... Purifies my soul and thoughts this melody.... I love it and that will be eternal!!!

  • @vertis0123 // Totally agree with you//Fantastic bit of music//

  • Equinoxe-3, the most fantastic& revolutionar sound ever heard in the world (note the primitive synthesizers of the 70's, but why today don't ...after 30 years

  • Not from this world...

  • sublime ! una sensazione di purezza incredibile.

  • Un maître ! cet homme est formidable

  • this music cleans my soul

  • Az egész Élet eltörpül a hatására

  • du bonbon, tout simplement

  • I loved it in past, love it today an will ever love it.

  • @thomanah ESTA MUSICA ES REALMENTE DE OTRO NIVEL DE LA BELLEZA DEL PASADO Y LA ESPERANZA DEL FUTURO.

  • Wonderful Music

I heard ist yesterday in an Astronomy Show in the Zeiss Planetary Bochum. The Collection of Jarre "AERO" was showed with Pictures and Effects of our Universe. And its fitted perfectly.

  • Brilliant song! At first i heard it in cartoon Sofuz

    /watch?v=YrnDjFQJZUw

    Wonderful )

  • Wow. I'm absolutely delighted...sometimes when I listen to Jarre I think I'm not only on earth but in the universe...

  • Jean Michel Jarre is nº1, the best music of the Earth.

  • Wonderful track from a very inspiring album.

  • lo +

  • I love it *****

  • Sounds like a nice story ...

Equinoxe 4 sounds like aliens on LSD !

Equinoxe 2 sounds like the bearth of the deep universe

    Truly brilliant !

  • This is sad... like it's a music about stardust but with a story about some people in it.

  • The must beautiful music of The Universe.

  • Yea, its magic, this music take you far away, and you forget everything you worring

  • You are absolutely right my friend! -Jarre's music can have a healing effect on the hear&soul.

  • Sounds so out of this world yet I can connect it to every part of my life...

  • Okay. I admit i took mushrooms one day, listening to this Album. It was totally one of the deepest audio-experiences of my live. A Shore and an ocean....

  • same here with LSD with every chordchange the mood and colour of the room changed and all was well. LOL great times.

  • exellent Erotik pur

  • ekstra))

  • It's a pity he doesn't play track like these live.

  • I'm going to go out on a limb and guess they'd be too complicated to play, live, unless he brought along some huge ensemble to play all the parts.

(I wish Enya toured, but she doesn't for probably the same reason)

  • Qu'est-ce que la belle musique ...

L'émotion prend soin de moi ...

  • ohhh part 1 my vision is a deep ocean, dark and vast...i'm swimming slowly into more shallow waters....

part 2 i reach the shore and sing my song in search of everlasting love hoping someone will hear my call...

part 3... atlast i have met my love and we are falling deeper in love every day ... we live together forever in peace and happiness.

I know i have a wild and vivid imagination! lol

    peaceful, gorgeous music.

  • You have a brilliant imagination! :)

What do you see when you hear the other parts of Equinoxe?

  • I envision an alien shore line, blue sand, pink waters, and a large, Saturn like world set halfway over the water. :)

  • It's music like this that gives inspiration. Iiterally closed my eyes and had a vision just with this music,

  • 7 STARS ******* !

  • ohhhh God have I just died and enterd heaven,,,

    what a beautiful music

it just makes my eyes shut and my mind relax

Jean Michel Jarre is God himself

  • He is God of music.

  • Ten utwór ma ponad 30 lat, a ja nadal go słucham.

  • Pure delicacy...

  • * * * * *

  • to me jean michel jarre is the best of the best,i listen to his music since oxygene in 1976,and i love every bit of it!!!!!!!!

The analoge synthesizers, the eminent organ that he used also for equinoxe,it just sounds super to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @mitsupitsu44some of his stuff is just pure shit ..but not all of it but some of it

  • Yes, I agree folks this is a beautiful and relaxing melody :) That's why I like to listen my Equinoxe album of JMJ, but all of my JMJ cd's :) I have almost 25 cd's of him and other things like his songbooks, DVD's and VHS's :) JMJ is my king of New Age/Electronic music and I love him :) I was listening Equinoxe earlier today hehe :)

  • Off course timeless, to bad he still stuck in that time composing and musicmaking wise. The eminent synth..i dont think anybody can ever surpass the sound he can get out of it.

  • so beautifull

  • great composer

  • Lintsin vekkula on paras ihmetalo koko suomessa

  • EQuinoxe IV,III,I are my favorietes.I love Equinoxe V as well, but not the orginal(i have a version with a harder sound, from a CD "hits of JEan michel Jarre performed by Equinox"

  • try smoking pot while listening to this, incredible. :)

  • Too powerfull! He he

  • This music and all of Equinoxe is like music from anonther world.

    Alien.......yet soothing and totally tranquil.

  • Pure scientific genius.

  • This track is the best music by JMJ - brilliant. Incredibly simple yet complicated. Much maligned in the present, in years to come surely he will be considered a great visionary...as near to perfect as you can get

  • This is without doubt, one of the most beautiful pieces of music by JMJ. A modern day classic that must surely be immortalised along with all the other famous composers...now decomposers!.

  • Yep the best track from the album, as per my personal point of view.

  • A typical comment from a person who calls himself schmidt.!!

  • The best track from the CD.

  • To me,these rhytms depict the path that butterfly flies(0:24-1:28),so carefree and unpredictable.Riding the synth-waves, sculpt your own ideas through sound.

  • at the beginning of E-3, the crashing of the waves, exquisite. Places me at beach somewhere in the pacific coast.

  • neoclassic

  • i have even heard a wonderful music such as this one equinoxe 3.

  • wonderful both of equinoxe 3,4,5 and magnetic fields 2.........oh lalala what work!!! JMJ a genius
