  • Thank you, Robert Smith. Your music is beautiful and a gift to the world that will live on when we are all long since dead.

  • The saddest and truest song ever! This man could put all pain into words.

  • Always stayed true and loyal to his style and image! I love him dearly for that. And of course music. That goes without saying.

  • I never said i would stay till the end...I knew i would leave you with babies and everything....

  • 6:51 ZIGGY STARDUST oh man i gave a hoot. cool poture

  • Though... i'm 17, my generation is full of shit... and the music this days is a fucking bullshit... I'm just madly in love with the music that The Cure made...

It might not be Beethoven, Chopin, Mozart... etc...

It's genious in their very own special way...

A lot of emotions that i haven't even felt... real sadness... or true love... There are songs that remind you those feelings...

But with me, those feelings will remind me this songs

  • this melody line is incredible: slow bass and synth, but rest fast! - just like race! it makes me faster heartbeat every time I hear it!

  • Love this song <3

    p.s

    0:59 - braaains :D

  • How many memories, my favorite song from this AWESOME album....thanks.

  • 6:11 he looks exactly like beetlejuice, fantastic song!

  • now that i know that I'm breaking to pieces/i'll pull out my heart and i'll feed it to anyone/crying for sympathy crocodile cry for the love of the crowd and the three cheers from everyone/dropping through sky through the glass of the roof/ through the roof of your mouth

through the mouth of your eye through the eye of the needle it's easier for me to get closer to

heaven than ever feel whole again=).now this is real music.

  • so great. I get headaches when it's not playing.

  • "Songs about happiness, murmured in dreams when both of us knew how the end always ends" - amazing lyrics, amazing song and right now.. it fits... how the end.. always ends!

  • favourite cure song

  • best song really

  • such where, our days of thunder...

  • love

  • I first heard the Cure in 1980...I was only 11 but I was so drawn into the sound and that egnimatic voice...Thank you Robert, I always dreamnt of meeting you to say that... This will have to do. (Thank you Jects for this journey.

  • magic hair.

  • True skill on the guitar is the way Rob has always created the notes that make you happy but sad too.

  • rimango del parere che gruppi e canzoni così non ne nasceranno più........

E' da più di vent'anni che ascolto la loro musica e non ti stanca mai.......

  • Rob wrote this on his 30th birthday!

  • Such a cutie at 57 seconds

  • No other performer has been more defined by his hair than Robert Smith.

  • Hoi Jects,

    Gute Arbeit, sehr Gute Arbeit

    Danke

    Ps: German

  • nice collection of RS pic's

    & about the track?

    Huh...The Ultra Cure Song, imo.

  • Early 80's to mid 80's move to goth is quite amazing. You can see it's a really personal thing for Robert, not just adhering to a fashion trend. Almost like he struggled with the image.... bit by bit by bit.... , and something assuring to all of us for that reason. He really earned the look, not just through his music, but thorugh his patience, and conviction for the look.

  • absolute favorite track..and that is hard to say!

  • Love this video, mate! Great job!

Brings me back so much sweet memories. Thanks bro!

  • Robert Smith hasn't wavered much from his basic look through the years.

I think he really does feel comfortable with who he is.

  • I love this melody line and I feel the lack of words in my mind.. it's amazing song, band, band leader... brillant! yes.. I have any wonderful words to say how brillant is this band and music !!!!! Disintegration is just like part of my live... my mind went black and so deep...

  • Robert Smith is very very cute!! <3

  • Красавцы!!!

  • It is 2011 and Disintegration is STILL the best album of all time....

  • My fav band ever..love you Robert Smith..love you Cure

  • one of the few men brave enough to continue wearing makuep well into the new millenium! Although personally I think he looks better without it. His style really hasn't changed much, at least for the photo shoots.

  • A fucking legend!

  • @distorsiondiferente2 true sayin'

  • This is one of the very few songs that I have to take a few moments to recover from after listening to it. It's almost crippling, how depressing it is. Only a truly great song can do something like that to one's emotions.

  • Love this video...love this band...and love this song! Thank you, great work!!!

  • great video,thanx a lot for it:)

  • @AlmostEnglish yeah boooooiiiiiiii

  • saw this live !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • love u since I was born... forever <3

  • One of my favorite songs of all time

Oh and this is one of the most beautiful, truthful and emotional songs created by man.

  • muy buena recopilacion de fotos, the best the cure!

  • Funny how The Cure just calms me the heck down :)

  • Man... rovostror1's spamming wouldn't bother me if he didn't have to use freaking capitals the whole time. DOESN'T IT BOTHER YOU WHEN SOMEONE'S COMMENT IS IN ALL CAPS? CAUSE IT REALLY PISSES ME OFF :P

  • OH, ON ONE PHOTO WHICH I HAVE ROBERT IS SIMILAR TO.. MICHAEL JACKSON. I SUPPOSE ITS BY HIS MAKE UP AND NOT WELL QUALITY OF THIS PHOTO

  • BEN AFFLECK IS VERY SIMILAR TO YOUNG ROBERT SMITH. HE SHOULD PLAY ROBERT IN A BIOGRAPHY FILM IF SOMEONE WHENEVER MAKE IT! FANTASTIC PICS. THE CURE IN PILL.

  • THE CURE FOREVER AND EVER!

  • i hate the 2 pics at 7:17-7:26

  • he looked different back then! i would never know that's r smith!

  • Love the pic of 0:36 , he looks cute, with or without make up

  • this song is 20 years old.

  • @kalamitka23 But that's from time immemorial topic.

  • the song's about how a guy left his wife and he doesn't feel bad because his wife should have seen it coming. so legit.

  • ahhh...i have been wondering for years and years... where did you read that?

  • 30 million a year, get over it.Boys don't cry

  • they should have retired afeter this album, it would have been the perfect end for one of the greatest bands ever

  • are you serious the created some of the greatest songs and without a doubt they are one of the greatest bands of all time .this album only made them grow as a band and their success could only grow

  • I first time hear this band and they have really good songs( lovesong is my favourite )

But anyway they are more pop than rock band -

    easylistening music.

  • he looks all the same, very good-looking and barely changed. it is the first time i saw his face without makeup. its said that when the cure got well-known, he is nerovous to perform and then he dressed himself like a spinder. nice video

  • Your life must be so amazing...

    xD

  • it actually is :) i'm very happy with it, but the cure is the only thing that really puts me in another level, and have been with me since i was a child. so i dont care if you're happy with material thins or stuff, but u dont have the right to come here with ironic things, because u dont know my life ;)

so for your information i'm very happy yes :)

  • Your the hero, Robert Smith!

  • Robert, Robert, Robert an Robert again... and again.... the cure is a band, not just a singer. This song is for me the nicest of the Cure

  • No the cure was always Robert Smith. We was the Heart behind all of thier music! With out Robert there was no Cure. Many other Band members came and gone.

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • I agree. This song is incredible. (Tra l'altro non la sentivo dal 2004...quest'anno invece l'hanno suonata sia a milano che a roma :D)

  • Obsessive, maniacal. This song is compulsive, like an eating something inside the stomach. It's something of dirt. It's poetry.

This song is a mirror. Everyone can see everything

  • Robert is sexy in all eras. Great song and pics! :-D

  • love this song !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
