@musiclova2110 hi! look at their homepage. this will be available on DVD but they are so slow.. i visit the homepage every week.. (; but we can look forwart to it !! greetings, chris
This is THE BEST BAND IN THE LAND ... PERIOD!!! Dispite the fact that I have seen them more than 60 (maybe 70) times, as recently as last Friday night, I really wanted to make the trip to the West Coast to see THIS show, but business commitments prevented that from happening .... oh well, there will be a DVD soon, but it's just not the same as being there!
Now THIS is bad awesome! I'm only 16 and I love this. I see my fav members out there. Bill Churchville, Marc Russo, LP, Mic Gillette, Skip Mesquite, and I think I see Richard Elliot. I think I hear Ellis Hall on Credit. Nick Milo maybe, along with Chester Thompson. I'm not sure, but maybe Jeff Tamelier?
I can't WAIT to see the DVD. Tower's got soul! Funk the dumb stuff.
No way! Were you at the Fillmore? I've seen ToP in concert countless times during the past 4 decades and this historical 40th Anniversary was the best concert ever! With all the alumni onstage in the end, there were 11 horns and 24 band members total. This will probably never happen again... until maybe the 50th!
BTW, I recognized my woohooin' on this clip. The camera man must have been next to me because in frames 5:56 and 9:48, that's me holding up my camera to capture the moment too! -Bella
Last Saturday, I flew from LA to SF to see ToP who I've been diggin' since 1968. Back in da day, I was just in high school but we drove up the coast to the Bay area for the "Farewell to the Fillmore" gig which ToP's intro by Bill Graham that night opened up last week's reunion concert. What a perfect tribute to the legendary promoter and the band he gave its big break. It was an unforgettable, emotional night which brought me to tears. I'm still trippin'--still jamming ToP nonstop!
What an incredible event! A lot of Heart and SOUL went into putting that together. Props to the band the alumni and all the support they had to get it all put together!
Wow, so awesome. This band is 40 years old and running. Some bands don't even last half that that. Some don't even last a year! One thing remains evident here: good musicianship, good musicality, good songs = a lasting legacy.
I was there!

I have been fortunate to see the band in this configuration three times, and I can tell you...THEY NEVER DISSAPOINT!
I am always blown away with the super tight horns and the killer vocals and funk 50 miles deep!
If you haven't seen this band live...you are really missing out!!!
