How fitting that in the age of the computer becoming commonplace such an album [that demonstrates the ability of contemporary hardware] is released.
Speaking of which: Anyone else dig that 8" floppy that kid is loading into the drive at 1:40? I didn't think they were made that big... Until my friend showed me the TRS-80 he inherited.
this today still futuristic piece of the past was composed by THIS Christian Bruhn who also wrote the song for the series "Heidi" (Heidi, Heidi, deine Welt sind die Berge!), if the web is right. an ingenious mind and maybe a bit of musical schizophrenia.
@LiveSteamMad I'm tryin'to download the album (just stumbled upon this and I like it so..) , so if I can't find more tracks, and if the search works out, then I will upload them..
i visited him many many years ago in his recording studio near munich where all his equipment was all around and we had a chat. before i left i could buy from him a few records with his music. at the time, just before the fairlight era, most was performed on the system 700 and with the mc8.

As you say, the music may be no electronic masterpiece, but this video is interesting for the visual content. I remember some of those computers and ads from Byte magazine. Sure brings back memories of when computers were interesting before everything turned into boring Windows based PC crap you can buy in Walmart for your 8 year old daughter to use for MySpace. You even have the Commodore Pet there which I almost bought, but ended up going the Apple II route.

Doch geht es - siehe meinen ersten Sätze.
