This is not true. Jesus Christ is the way, The Truth and Life. Why, because we have all done evil falling short of God's standard of living and as such we deserve to die and so it is. But if you believe in Jesus Christ and confess your sins you will receive eternal life. No amount of good we do can redeem us because we are saved by God's mercy.

It is firstly about God. And His love for us. I wasn't a Christian for 14years, then God's extraordinary love captured me and I chose to accept His Son Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. Why is God considered an explanation for anything? It's not - it's a failure to explain, a shrug of the shoulders, an 'I dunno' dressed up in spirituality and ritual.

the first one starts in verse 15...its about paying taxes to ceaser, the 2nd in verse 34 about the greatest commandment (the pharisees trying to trick God on his own book) and the 3rd in verse 41 about whose son is christ - this is my favourite example as jesus points out a very tiny detail that these men of the law had never seen in all their years of studying the bible (read it for yourself and see where he says "the Lord said to my Lord" he)
well said gary... instead of arguing about if our LORD is alive you should be looking at the love that everyone who believes in him experiences. The simple fact that he exists go's without saying. a side note guys, i found the dorking delusion a great book that talks about this kind of doubt... although it will never be as good as jesus in the bible...when he took on all those "leaders of the law"'s unanswerable questions with ease (matthew 22 & 23).
we don't need to argue about God's (Jesus) existence here on earth... One thing that I want to share is that we would be able to prove His existence if we simply believe.. With that simple faith, He will reveal Himself to you "personally"... Our faith in Him is not a ritual, its relational.. the very proof we can give is the great experience we felt when we accepted Him as our Savior and Lord..

I agree with you... That almost all of us, Christians, do not reflect His character... and that's the amazing part! We are able to be in His presence not because of our works, but because of His grace... We believe that this grace would enable to transform our lives to be like Him... I admit, it's not easy, for it is a "lifetime" process.. Little by little, as we know Him more, we would be able to capture His image... =)

We truly serve an awesome God. If we know him as our personal saviour and have accepted him into our hearts we can someday go to live with him forever!

Yeah can't not love us, because I feel God IS us. In fact I think the entire UNIVERSE is God. All of existence is. Perhaps we should take all this love we have towards God and direct towards ourselves, eachother, and this world/existence we live in. Because I think that's what loving God actually is.

So Jesus was lieing about the wide road to destruction and He didn't teach about Satan? This is not true. Jesus Christ is the way, The Truth and Life. Why, because we have all done evil falling short of God's standard of living and as such we deserve to die and so it is. But if you believe in Jesus Christ and confess your sins you will receive eternal life. No amount of good we do can redeem us because we are saved by God's mercy.

@catnipfever22 your thoughts are respected but but I implore you to consider Jesus as a personal Lord and Saviour. Our lives are not entirely about ourselves or our human race. It is firstly about God. And His love for us. I wasn't a Christian for 14years, then God's extraordinary love captured me and I chose to accept His Son Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. Now I know what it is to be free, and I choose to believe in Jesus and walk in his way daily. Despite failure I keep on running to him.

the first one starts in verse 15...its about paying taxes to ceaser, the 2nd in verse 34 about the greatest commandment (the pharisees trying to trick God on his own book) and the 3rd in verse 41 about whose son is christ - this is my favourite example as jesus points out a very tiny detail that these men of the law had never seen in all their years of studying the bible (read it for yourself and see where he says "the Lord said to my Lord" he)

well said gary... instead of arguing about if our LORD is alive you should be looking at the love that everyone who believes in him experiences. The simple fact that he exists go's without saying. a side note guys, i found the dorking delusion a great book that talks about this kind of doubt... although it will never be as good as jesus in the bible...when he took on all those "leaders of the law"'s unanswerable questions with ease (matthew 22 & 23).

With that simple faith, He will reveal Himself to you "personally"... Our faith in Him is not a ritual, its relational.. the very proof we can give is the great experience we felt when we accepted Him as our Savior and Lord..

I agree with you... That almost all of us, Christians, do not reflect His character... and that's the amazing part! We are able to be in His presence not because of our works, but because of His grace... We believe that this grace would enable to transform our lives to be like Him... I admit, it's not easy, for it is a "lifetime" process.. Little by little, as we know Him more, we would be able to capture His image... =)

Let's not be impulsive... I remember Peter when Jesus is being caught by the Roman soldiers.. He was impulsive enough to cut the ear of one of the soldiers, but in the crucifixion time, He denied Jesus 3 times.. If we are too impulsive, we are prone to be like Him in that situation... Rather, have the brotherly love to share your faith to others.. No offense meant.. Open rebuke is better than secret love..

God is a creator and he created us out of love. he dosent need us. as a matter of fact we are nothing but a speck when we look at how big the universe is. yet he cares about us so much. in a world full of sin (our rebellion, and wanting to be gods) he forgave us through sending his son on earth to die and rise again. discovering God is about finding truth, meaning and purpose, and a journey of self discovery. there is more than enough evidence out there, you just have to explore it.
