  • It's so bouncy I can't help bopping in place.

  • ♪Happy yesterday to all, we were born to die.♪ Love this song!

  • 4 people wear a candy coloured frown!

  • Thumbs up if your listening to this in 2011

  • Somehow it involves dying, but it is still happy! I LOVE SCISSOR SISTERS!!8D

  • I love this song. Damnit, it haunts me!

  • this album is the anthem of my childhood. A little creepy considering, but loved nonetheless.

  • there is sth lurid about this music but i still love it!! Happy yesterday to all...!

  • this song must be in the elevator to hell... XD haha its great

  • I love rainbows as much as the next girl, but do you seriously have to needlessly extend the video just to feature all its colors?

  • love it

  • Why do you just have a bunch of nothing making the video longer? Trim it, there's no reason for this. Intermission is only 2:37 long. Why the 3:51 video?

  • I absolutely love how this song has the happiest tune I have ever heard. Yet, if you listen to the lyrics, it's just the opposite. Awesome.

  • Using this song to make a demo. I am a girl, but I dont' care. This song is amazing!

  • what do you guys think of their new one? i've only heard some of it so far and those tracks that i've heard are not of the same cloth as the the first two albums. do they just need time to grow on you?

  • @movitmovit They do. At first listen I hated the album, but now after a few months I can honestly say it's some of their best work. Not as kitchey and fun as Ta-Dah, but definitely more mature - and in some songs deliciously dark!

  • @seamusinboston that's encouraging. i sure wish that they hadn't thrown out the other album they were working on however. then there would have been two albums instead of only one.

  • What I love about this song is that they combined the classical and alternative music genres, and it takes skill to do that.

  • I love this song. These are the best lyrics I've ever heard.

  • the lyrics are so depreassing but the tune is so happy haha. LOL

  • they are definitely not getting attention they deserve....

  • This song makes me picture a very old fashioned theatre and some cheesy 20's musical ")

  • candy coloured frown ")

  • Whenever I hear this song, I picture this massive multi-religious cabaret with backstabbing angels and spirits and the main singer is a sarcastic, mini-tuxedo'd version of Beatrice from the Divine Comedy singing to some poor confused guy.

  • divine comedy ftw!

  • @MsOmppu that is quite a vivid picture, great one never the less. I commend you for your the scene you created.

  • I love Scissor Sisters, and this has to be the most passive aggressive song ever :D

  • Great, now I'm going to think of this as the passive-aggressive theme song.

  • I LOVE SCISSOR SISTERS!!

  • Another classic from this band. :)

  • i love the fact that elton john is playing piano on this, what legends!!

  • N'importe quoi, hein?

  • very kooky loveit!!

  • What a song...what a song!

    I like it yes.

  • ah im gonna learn this on the piano and upload it as no one seems to have done it yet :)

  • it hapens the same with me!!!

  • i love this song but everytime i show it to someone they hate it! i dunno wats up!

  • I love this song!!!¹²³

  • this is my favorite song

    ever

  • i *really* like this song and several of their others. some of their stuff is a little on the fluffy side.

this song shows what they are capable of being when they aren't focusing so much time on trying to be neo-queer.

  • Dark song but never a truer lyrics " We were born to die " it's surprising how the lyrics are so dark but the tune is so happy and carefree . I love this song !

  • i like the songs that are upbeat but the lyrics aren't like I Can't Decide. They have some good songs.

  • How is it true? We do die, but I see no evidence that it is any sort of purpose in its self.

  • "We do die, but I see no evidence that it is any sort of purpose in its self. "

Well, in this context, "we were born to die" is a statement similar to "no future" or "no way out", and it comes as the climax of an elaborate collection of "uncontrolledly lucid optimism"...

Priceless lyrics, by the way, all of them. I don't know any other song that celebrates dystopia quite like this one.

  • ♥I totally ♥ this song!♥

  • this nearly went into kiss you off lol

oh well love this song man i forget about them all the time but i adore the scissor sisters thank you for posting this songs its genius a brilliantly catchy tune with surprisingly dark lyrics, but its good cos it shows the world there is more depth than just a lot of dont feel like dancing's which is a really good song but gives u a certain impression that the band isnt as serious as others which is totally untrue. jake shears rules the world.

  • Ragtime, Beatles and Tenors I hear them all at once.

  • thanks for posting!:)

  • I LOVE THIS MUSIC xD Scissor Sisters are great !

  • love this song!

  • my god, this song has QUEEN all over it. Seaside rendevous, Good Old-fashioned Lover Boy, and Lazing on a Sunday afternoon!!!

  • and also im not sure if its just my computer but they're seems to be like a minute of nothingness at the end?!

  • This song is actually supposed to morph into Kiss You Off, so maybe whoever made the video tried to cut that part and messed up.

Minutes of silence at the end of the video can also happen when the soundtrack is an MP3 with VBR compression.

  • finally! i've been looking for this song for ages on youtube but haven't been very successful =[

does anyone know if theyve done a video for this song?

  • does anyone have the mp3 for this?

  • i downloaded it onto my mp3 from the cd.

  • do you think you could send it to me, please?

  • i dunno coz i downloaded it onto my old computer so the files arent there anymore...

    ...sorry =[

  • its okay. =)

  • Buy the CD, it's worth it.

  • it's so good, all i can do is drool when i'm listening to it

  • @SomeguyX It really is. I bought Night Work last week, and sadly, it's NOTHING like Ta-Dah. Scissor Sisters is an alright album though.

  • ITS JUST THE SAME PIC THO HUED HEHE

  • I'm above mate not below

  • i totally agree with him below!!!!!

  • Love the music But Rubbish Pictures
