  • Why cant honda make something that doesnt have the same tires, wheelbase, ride hight and engine as an accord?

  • I want one !!!!!

  • Its funny caz that new ecoboost v6 gets better mpg and tow twice as much and costing bout the same

  • @StangBang35 Keep in mind the time Gap. 5 years.

  • @StangBang35 Oh and the v6 Ecoboost has Twin Turbos. Ridgeline would probably have the same MPG and as much power as the ECoboost V6.

  • @halflife103 Well they sell the Ridgeline as exactly as they did 5 years ago and the F-150 weights a hole lot more so Honda needs to step up there game or just drop it all together

  • @StangBang35 What makes you THINK that it was created to compete with 1/2 Tons?. It is basicly and SUV with an open back. HOW IS THAT SO HARD TO GRASP?. It is NOT meant to compete with 1/2 Tons. More like SUV's and 1/4 Tons. Like Dakotas and Colorado.

  • @halflife103 Well i think its usless caz its the same size has half tons and but its not has capable i mean it doesnt mak sense either has a 1/4 ton caz its base prise is almost 30 grand sooooo it really has no comptition its just an over priced crossover with an open bed

  • @StangBang35 It is weird, i will give you that. But it's meant to be a Vehicle than can move a family and light equiptment. It is basicly and SUV with an open bed. Minus the Towing capacity. because even my 94 Explorer can tow 6000lb with is 1000lb more. It's got a VERY high safety rating. So, i would say its a truck for city people. For those who don't want a 1/4 ton.

  • wow im not a truck fan but i like this and the ram 1500 :)

  • @toyota4life94 Sure, Ill check it out later on. I may make a video of my '09 :P

  • @toyota4life94 Well, every accident I have ever heard of with a Ridgeline has attested to its safety. For example that one that fell off the bridge you showed me.

  • @toyota4life94 Yes, but tests are tests :P

  • @toyota4life94 Really? The Ridgeline was a Top Safety Pick of 2009, picked for most survivability. Hate to break it to you, but the Ridgeline is technically safer then the Tacoma.

  • @toyota4life94 Mhm. Its a small, affordable tank :) I wouldnt trust my family in anything else.

  • @toyota4life94 Depends what you are using it for. The Tacoma would be better for heavy lifting, but I'd rather have the Ridgeline for every day applications and just plain old driving around.

  • @mistamikey123455 The ridgeline is so gay! Its not even a truck because it doesn't have a frame. The ride and handling isn't sloppy in the tacoma by any means, it almost feels like driving a car, yet it still tows a lot. Tacoma4life!

  • @etoyotarockshsucks Man, you really do not know anything. Its a combination Uni-body and Frame. It has a frame integrated with the unibody.

  • @mistamikey123455 its still gay.

  • @etoyotarockshsucks Thats what you believe. I feel bad for you, what you will miss out on.

  • @mistamikey123455 Nothing, you're the one missing out on the better truck aka toyota tacoma.

  • I've always driven Chevy pickups. I now own a Honda Ridgeline & LOVE IT. By far the best vehicle I've owned. Try it....you'll love it!

  • The first time I saw one of these I was like wtf is that??? But now when I look at them, I think their pretty awesome. I seen one on some bigger rims and it looked boss. I want one now haha.

  • @2kshark I actually agree but based on the number of mizers who say 210 is alot of power, my chrysler intrepid special edition has 270 HP naturally aspired!!! Also, honda made it for the mass market so what do u expect... Other than that , I want one soo badly!!!!!

  • real trucks have atleast one solid axle if not 2

  • very versatile truck....why pull something with a rear wheel when you can pull it on a full time all wheel :)....drives like a car and best of all...very dependable :)

  • that is not a truck if there is a trunk its a car

  • @dieseltorque4x4 Who made that rule up? They should be shot for claiming a truck cannot be a versatile.

  • Drivability, Utility, and Offroad Capability. Fail.

  • Ya know, I've been driving a 1999 f150 with the 4.6l v8, and I love it and everything, but I'd still prolly prefer this thing. The ridgeline is safer, has better fuel economy (still sucks for a v6, and a Honda at that), has more power, better ride, and can do what I need. With the truck I have now I never toe anything and the ride blows

  • still suck for a v6 ??? come on, 250 horse power, u call that suck, if u want more power, get an air intake and it will give u the extra boost u need

  • has anyone noticed that the rideline is scary simaliar to the lamborghini LM-002. i mean side by side the ridgeline is just slightly updated an much more refined.

  • it will probably last forever, after all it's a honda

but jeesh... the looks are only a mother could love

  • I love my ridgeline for what I do, I'm not a construction worker or professional biker so works perfect for me. might not be a truck for testostrone show off guy.....

a ford or chevy owner will have replaced his truck in 100K miels or so but I won't be replacing my truck for the next 200K+ miles for sure

  • @neprock1 wrong my 93 chevy is past 300k and love it not a damn thing wrong with it

  • @neprock1 You can't just assume that GM and Ford cars are bad, and obviously based on the crazy figures you give you have never owned one. I got 250k out of a 1992 Chevy Suburban before I sold it (only because I got a good enough deal on a new one). My current Suburban is approaching 100k and I haven't replaced anything but tires and brake pads. I know lots of people who have had troubles with Honda or Toyota even before 50,000

  • my dad got his pilot over 50k and i didnt see any problem

  • My last car was a Ford Sport Trac, I purchased a Ridgeline about a year ago and it is by far a better truck then the sport trac could ever think of being. It rides as good as a caddie. Got to say I love it.

  • Great all around truck for the every day person!

  • My brand new chevy silverado just had its transmission rebuilt. I'm wishing I bought this now.

  • Ok you go ahead and buy a Chevy then and see how many times it breaks down and only lasts to 150k miles, when the honda will last at least twice that long. As for the engine, like he said its hondas first truck and plus if you have a truck it doesnt mean you haul the max all the time, some people have trucks and dont use them for there purpose

  • really?

my chevy has 180k and still going strong

if you haven't owned a chevy for as long as i have then shut the fuck up.

  • @lamontrene No, you!

  • @cmrossman My dad's suburban has 313000 Kilometers and still runs like new. :)

  • haha "its so much like a car, you have to remind yourself that youre driving a truck"

  • ...it's true, sometime I think I'm driving a Accord.

  • @kaox44 that's because the ridgeline is based on an accord.

  • @alexcheetah79

...then it's even better. Driving a AWD Accord...awesome.

  • dude, its strong enough with a v6. the point of it was for a pickup that SAVES gas, not like ford. also, this is hondas first pickup, and its a hell alot better then the rest of the trucks out there.

  • How is it better than other trucks out there?

The Chevy Avlalanche gets the same gas mileage but offers more power, more towing cacity, more payload and better off road capablity. Only a moron would think the Ridgeline is a better truck.

  • you are right the avalanche is better but for 36,000 as the starting price thats more then what i paid for my tundra when it was brand new and i got the racing package

  • well look at the price difference and the feature list in the ridgeline is way longer then the avalanche.

  • would only a moron give it the truck of the year award the first year it came out?

  • the v6 is very powerful and it's natural too

  • @coolgames14 i know, im agreeing with you :D

  • about, the engine life is good, the v6 could get a few extra horse power with the intakes, or the v6 is very powerful for a natural aspire 3.5

  • @mistamikey123455

this is a very unique vehicle, but doesnt excel at anything.

it isnt a hell of a lot better than any true truck.

  • @mistamikey123455 you mean "not like Ford, Chevy and Dodge"

  • @halflife103 Touche :P

  • @mistamikey123455 I may be great for everyday driving but it fall short to do pickup truck work.

  • @alexcheetah79 Ive actually done some 'heavy' work with it (for its capabilities). I can do what it was designed to do. It wasnt designed to replace a Silverado in terms of muscle or capabilities, but designed as a light truck. As a light truck, it blows everything else out of the water.

  • @mistamikey123455 hence why I said it's great for car like everyday driving but it falls short as a real work vehicle or off roader.
