Now, I'm not so sure Mass Effect 3 will even be worth the money if this is your bullshit excuse for why Shepard has to return to earth, get his ship confiscated, and have to retrieve his entire fuckin team all over again. If this is supposed to be the foundation of events that ME3 is to be built off of, then it fails to impress and leaves a bad omen of what is to come.

What a shitty dlc. Story has so many errors in the way it was written. Hell it contradicts direct lore, gives a half-ass reason why you can't have teammates, makes Shepard look like a retard, destroys the entire point behind mass effect 2's main storyline, and gives you no real choices. Great job Bioware. I was looking forward to mass effect 3 before your shitty transition dlc.

The explosion when the asteroid crashed into the Alpha relay was just awesome, probably one of the top ten greatest explosions i have ever seen and the ost that was playing while it was happening was beautiful

There was the choice between giving the Collector Base to Cerberus or destroying it, Balak the batarian (since I let him go in Bring Down The Sky), Corporal Toombs (Who swore vengeance on me for joining Cerberus), A war with Batarians for the aftermath of Arrival, Vito of the Blue Suns, & let's not forget...The Reapers...

All the good I did for the galaxy and this happens. Assuming the Council hears about this, you end up awaiting execution. Earth gets attacked and "crew" break you out of prison. There you have to convince the other races you & humans can be trusted despite the "Arrival" and that you need their help to save the humans they never trusted, and save the galaxy stopping the Reaper invasion. - Crazy but parts of it seem possible to me.

@Calick First of all, the Reapers were not coming from the Relay. They were coming from Dark Space and planned to use the Alpha Relay to move on the rest of the Galaxy.

Second, there were no ways to stop the asteroid in order to wait for the Reapers and it would be too risky anyway. What if they managed to use the Relay before the explosion?

Finally, when Kenson died, Harbinger must have felt it. So, the Reapers realized that Shepard was about to blow up the system and changed directions.

@AntiXaldin that last part is speculation no were does it state they changed directions they were probably just outside the Range of the explosion changing routes would go from a years travel to several. I think with how pissed the reapers are they are just taking the more direct route

@Quintega Yes, it si speculation but it's also logical. Reapers are coming from Dark Space to the nearest relay, the Alpha. Then, Shepard shows up, puts the asteroid moving and Kenson dies. At this point, the Reapers would have known that it was too risky to enter the System because they had no way of stopping Shepard and migth get caugth in the explosion. So, they simply changed courses and start heading towards the second closest relay, all the while cursing Shepard's name.

@M4sterCr4zy After playing all the in-game missions, sidequests, and other DLC, I left this for last. Amazing. Simply amazing. The dialogue between Shepard and Harbinger sounded pretty epic, and ended ME2 in an anticipatory tone to ME3.
