@Zpapi it demends what kind of gamer you are if you like to keep attacking then kickboxing and either brazilian jiu jitsu or kickboxing and wrestling but if you like the ground game then you should pick muai thai and either judo or brazilin jiu jitsu because with bjj you can do power transitions from the bottom like if you have been mounted you can press LB on the xbox or L1 on the ps3 and move the stick a certain way and you will move from being mounted to being in full guard

If you're playing against the CPU, go with Kickboxing&Wrestling, against people go with kickboxing&Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or Muay Thai&Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. CPU you can't make submit. so it's all about the KO's and TKO's.

Yeah - its realistic. you just cant put it in there and there it goes. If you want an arm lock you have to kick the arms repeatedly. want a headlock kick it and punch it (where i get most of my submissions.) Best time to do it is when they are Rocked or Fatigued. And its the best fighting game l know of. Tekken is good but HARD! Street fighter just isnt my juju

I use Forrest Griffin, who has Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, but how do I do submissions!? I can only to do the Kinora, and he always counters it anyway!

btw its kimora and doing submissions is easy just press the right analog stick. for example when u r in a full guard press analog stick and your fighter will attempt a leg lock.

Totally AGREE!! Hate fighting Tito cause all he does is Takedowns, takedowns, takedowns. It's easy to reverse but annoying as hell when you're trying to knock him or anybody out when you stun them. Everytime I'm close to knocking him out he goes for a takedown. SO I use Forest instead of Liddel.

put it on expert if its too easy...or better yet play another human... expert has a challenge...you eventually get good and can win, but you still never know...you can get careless and get knocked out or submitted by cpu...the real challenge will be online and playing friends...this game is awesome..i play the demo all the time

I wonder how Create-a-Fighter would be. Could you use a PS3 cam to 3D render YOUR face perfectly? That would be sweet. I wish you could create a set combo of moves from all styles. Maybe like a skill log set, where you have a set number of attacks, and you cannot ecceed the limit. With that, you can program one move per slot, from any martial art, maybe a side kick from TKD, and then a high Kickboxing kick, then a Boxing uppercut, that would be legendary!

Fighters are only limited to two styles, and unfortunately it has to be one striking and one grappling.

Personally, I wouldn't mind playing around with a fighter with Judo/BJJ even if it did mean having really shitty stand-up, but that doesn't seem to be an option.
