Veryy nice viiddd !!! !:) i don't understand why people rate bad on this vid ,, but I have a question,, i am going to fly to norway this winter and we want to see the polar light,, can anyone tell me some places where i probably will see the polar light in 7 days , and can we see the polar light in januari,, and can we do some other things in norway when it is winter,, thanks alot

I flew SAS from Chicago, to Denmark once. I was young so I am not sure what aircraft it was but It was huge! And they have very nice service!

The solution to the crisis of SAS? It is the reduction to 120 aircraft, 12 Airbus A340-300 and A330-300 for intercontinental routes like New Delhi, Hong Kong, Los Angeles for a total of 10 intercontinental destinations, ie to reduce a total of 120 aircraft and expand long-haul routes to 10 destinations between Asia.Dubai and USA. This would be the solution to the crisis of SAS airlines.

Sas should move their Asian destinations from Copenhagen to Stockholm-Arlanda. Inhabitants from north sweden or north norway would never go to copenhagen for a flight to Beijing for example. They choose helsinki instead. And germans travel from Frankfurt before cph.

No money left to buy new airplanes. Even the swedish gouverment avoid SAS. Aviod this airline like aids. It has gone from 4 star rating to 2 this year (2010) .It says it all.

Professionel airline. But the route network is limited. Futhermore their website when ordering tickets online compared too US airlines sites is limited i.e multicity option dosn't exist on SAS website.. And the Eurobonus system nowadays is a joke. Unless you book business class tickets on all you flights its pointless to be a member.

But SAS need to flight for more cities , intercontinental routes as New Delhi, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Lisbon and Cairo.

Thats all star alliance destinations itsb easy for conections and important cities.

I agree; but unfortunately, SAS has had serious financial difficulties for the past years. hopefully that will change.

At 0:45; does anyone have the explanation of this? SAS Norge with its Norwegian flag at the rear. Why is the registration number Danish, then?

Actually I don't know... but I have seen Alitalia airliners with Irish registration. so i'm just as confused as you are. But it might have something to do with SAS being inter-Scandinavian? I'm not sure though.

SAS firstly started out in Denmark. some years ago SAS is splitted into SAS Norway, SAS Sweden and SAS Denmark. The aircrafts who belongs to SAS Norway, are some of them marked with the norwegian flag at the rear. But the registration number is danish, cause the fleet were probably bought in during the time SAS had their headquarter in Copenhagen, Denmark.

SAS has really gone downhill ever since they repainted their planes from all white to the lego looking toys. From top notch food and service to low cost no frills carrier... is sad.

The new liveries arent to bad actually. I like combination with blue, white and red.

But you are right, SAS has become an expensive low cost carrier with an outdated fleet. (Thankfully theyr MD80's are being retired this year and next year)

sorry to disagree but the I think the current SAS livery his horrible. The "SCANDINAVIAN" is too hard to see and in a different font than the "SAS".

The 80's eurowhite scheme with stripes with national colors wa smuch better. But the viking ship scheme rules.

I think it looks kind of modern.

To save money, like American Airlines, don't paint the planes. Saves like 200 pounds wheight (per flight) and it saves money when painting it. :P
