We are to busy fighting a necessary war on terror for our own security, maybe the European countries who have contributed little troops to the fight should save darfur.

I completely agree with you that Europe must also take responsibility. However, my feeling is that the American force it would take to stop the bleeding in Darfur would be minimal and would lead to other nations involvement. Hopefully the future result of stopping the genocide in Darfur would be that nations with the power would refuse to allow genocide to occur anywhere. I am understanding of your comment and appreciate you taking the time to relay your thoughts on the matter.

Unfortunately, if US troops get involved im afraid that the teeorists would follow, further destabilizing the region, but I suppose you have to fight them somewhere.

Bullshit. We have STOCKPILES of some of the best weaponry offensive AND defensive. If it's our war why do we get the rest of the world involved ? Why do we constantly say the reason we need to stay in Iraq is to help the citizens of Iraq? This is a quest for resources and wealth to fulfill the egos of our government and you know it!
