I shot one of those a couple of days ago. They get in your trash and they smell like shit. These animals are rabid and are not good pets.

They make great pets if you educate yourself about them.... I've rehabbed wildlife for over 15 years and have a master in wildlife biology. We kill what we fear.... if you want to kill something JOIN THE MARINES.....they'll give you the experince you so desperately need.

@BG7774 hi, ive been rehabbing a couple possums this fall. new experience for me. i usually rehab only skunk, deer, coons. i found that past a certain age their feces got really smelly. i was keeping them in the house in a cage until they got big enough ( and i couldnt take it anymore) so now they are wintering in a cage in the barn.

@BG7774 i feel they would never make it the winter if i just let them go now. but i disagree. i do not feel like they were good pets. I got them with their eyes closed and handled them often and they were never really lovable like my other pets. and their poop smells like rotting courpse.

Those are some mighty fine looking Joeys you got their. They remind me my little one's when they were small. I was a single parent for most of their life. Their mother died due to a hungry alligator. They are all grown up now and live in wooded swamp. Take care of them little possums; let me know what happen to them little ones on my channel.

WE ENDED UP WITH 4 BABY BABY POSSUMS WHEN THE MOTHER GOT RAN OVER INFRONT OF OUR HOUSE. AND SHE HAS WITH 4 BABYS. WE NAMED THEM STAR LENNON McCARTNEY AND HARRISON. IM A BIG FAN OF ROCK & ROLL AND I CHOSE TO NAME THEM AFTER THE BEATLES GROUP LOL

We get them as babies but when they are old enough we return them to the wild. Saying good-by is always difficult.
