hey, ive got a question. i have a honeybee king 2, and ive got the brushless motor, metal head assembly. but this morning when i was flying, it hovered fine for a few seconds, then it started jumping up and down. when i ws charging the battery, it said problem with battery, could this be the problem?
Hey man you deserve it. Your King is perfectly dialed in man, your blades have that sweet crisp zinging noise, mine is still "Flooorrrrrrpp" There again I have a 4000KV Motor and I really over killed it with mods till it is not even a king anymore. Inspiring control you have man.
some may watch this and think-oh wow its a toy heli......little do they know how much skill it takes to be able to perform a hover like that, I certainly wish I could fly mine that precise!great vid!
Do you have any specific recommendations for getting the TREX slider to work on the HBK2? That sounds like a good solution but I do not want to have to irreversibly modify any of my CNC tail parts if I can avoid it.
The Trex slider wont effect your CNC tail. I replace the little purple CNC "L" bracket with a longer one I made myself to give the required throw. Nothing that cant be reversed.
You have very good control I have almost decided on buying a HBK2 as my first helicopter, hope it comes with a simulator (can the controller connect to the PC via USB?)
That is some very nice hovering given how low it is and in an enclosed space!
The standard 0704 gyro that came with my belt cp recently failed (due to sparking when connecting the battery), after watching this I'm definitely going to replace it with an 0704A.
Adjust tail servo along boom while in rate mode until tail holds reasonably straight when rudder & trims are centred. Move servo in tiny 1mm increments to find that sweet spot. When the best position is found, switch to HH mode, you may need to trim the rudder a bit to eliminate any creep
Hate these twichy ass helis

great control

Use the HBK3 tail slider. It's a drop in fit, and of course the Extreme 44t pulley.

its a good heli but change the stock gyro because it is known to be glitchy.

Dood, this is insane control, really well done. I would not have the balls to do it hover in such an enclosed area. Well done man.

Thanks for the nice comments, I will put up some new videos of my Trex & also have a little Walkera 4#3 for indoor practise.

try putting a metal cnc swashplate it runs more riggid more stable. just a tip and use a 43 teeth gear and a 10 teeth tail boom gear too by xtreme.

i ordered exactly that what does the tail thaft with 10t do

Good hovering. Thats a pretty tight area.

How did you manage to set up your 0704A that well
Can you share some pointers cause I can't get mind to work properly.
Thanks
