  • Ah;the good old days...........

  • This is a charming record which was part of one of the first Elvis albums, which is where I heard it when I was 12 years old. I still love it, quite a few years on...

    Thanks for posting this.

  • THIS ELVIS AT HIS BEST EARLY MUSIC BY THE KING

  • Pure, pure, beautiful music

  • Amazing how much this reminds me of what was beginning to evolve in music then. It sounds a lot like Buddy Holly's West Tex music. Early days of plowing new fields of sound. History and culture growing in youth, post war. Breathe it in and the time machine rolls you back. Yes. . .

  • Elvis @ 1:33 Now that look is big-time movie star cool!

  • For me this is the REAL Elvis. He deviated away from what made him a legend so much when he started to wear those awful white cat suits with the fringes on. You could say that he matured a bit with his later material but I feel that he didn’t inject it with enough raw rock n roll from time to time but for the exception of Way On Down. My dad was a teenager in the 1950’s and I must say I’m a bit envious. Respect to Elvis too for being a man and doing his duty in the army unlike some ‘John Wayne’

  • @bloobear1 "Some" celebrities were full of themselves, no caring for those who put the coins in their pocket and not true to their craft. Elvis was not a celebrity. Elvis was real person who overcame great adversities and game himself to us. Elvis Presley was passionate about United States of America, did not "shirk" duty. Elvis sang because it was his "purpose" and because he enjoyed it, and my enjoyment of Elvis began 1950s, listening to the forty-five records on scratchy player.

  • Now thats some sweet rockabilly!

  • I love scotty's guitar skills..

  • thanks for uploading! I love the pictures! where did you find them??

  • elvis...the heartbreaker

  • Song may have "antique" sound and performance by young and playful Elvis Presley; BUT, lyrics are true, and fantastic. The boy had fun with the music; yet, still out performed anybody other than he ..... with each song, no matter his age and poverty circumstance.

  • @ElvisPresleyLand Yes antique sound but that's it's charm as he didn't have to rely on big production. Great talent with great backing musicians too. Later material not a patch on his early stuff

  • Just brilliant, love this song as i love all Elvis's sun recordings, who i am kidding, i love all of Elvis's recordings, each has there own special place

  • Written by Charles (Jack) Alvin Sallee. Elvis recorded it December 10, 1954 at Sun Records. The single release did not chart, but it was the first Elvis song for which sheet music was issued. It was the B-side to Milkcow Blues Boogie. It is available on The Sun Sessions CD and The King of Rock 'n' Rock-The Complete 50s Masters, which is where this version is from.

  • another fantastic video, thanks x

  • I've always admired this very magnificent, fun and underrated song a whole lot. It's one of hundreds of hidden gems by King Elvis. There's no possible way that anyone could sing this song as well or better than Elvis did. Elvis is the greatest singer, entertainer and phenomenon that the world will ever have. Elvis will also always have the greatest voice and the greatest fans. Elvis was and will always be a one of a kind. This video was absolutely perfect in every way, 10 Stars as always Jackie.

  • @ElvisSacramento What you say is true; but, ..... appreciate a good "challenge." Keep looking ElvisPresleyDuets for fresh singer who will perform with Elvis, singing "You're A Heartbreaker," among other fun tunes that have great lyrics.
