the 5 door version, heavier than 3door. It is stock no modifications, but I'm running a rich Fuel. Means I'm using around 100octane fuel. More HP and better mileage. I got 98oct here in UAE and add additives to make 100oct. well will try to get the 215km captured :)

..and just for the n0tice....i laughed at a 2007 land cruiser v6....and ive beaten camry's,mazda6.,never tried with a prado till date..i think he'd cross me easily as he gets his 0-100 in like 8 seconds i suppose it has a very g0od accelation but not to 4get it only weighs 1.8 tons with a stronger engine!!

hey coom1986: i c ur into technical shit....if the 270hp groos = 250 net....prado has 250hp gross so does that mean it gives like 230 net?:S:s.....cuz i have a 2005 3.8l which has 230hp...how much does it really have??.....and i have to say from my experience with the car,as i mostly race not off road here on the kuwaity streets. that engine is fuc*in strong considering its moving a 2.1 ton suv....dont u think so?!?!

The engine was updated to fourth generation to provide more power, and has mivec as well. Fourth generation is 2007 ->, so if your car is older than that, it might have less power.

I agree with you. The pajero is the best car for offroad especially at high speeds. It is well on curves and it's a good feeling of safety in driving. Its engine is very powerful and responds well when it is requested.

aha true the fuel helps....but hey btw, h0w is the ride's stability and silence on high speeds...cuz my ride is pretty amazing but i do have pr0blems with hearing the sound of the wind alot that it annoys me...but i only face that at like 120+...and cuz the car is low i hear the sound of the wheels too..im just h0ping they fixed m0st of the pr0bs in the new 1.....h0pe to hear soon man...tc

make sure ur running on correct tire pressure,try to use nitrogen gas,nitrogen doesn't get hot as O2&tire pressure remains same at high speeds.(dont use if u do off road) after 160 u'll feel wind force but its normal.I did 200,was stable but u get alot noise,well at the end it is like a brick running towards air...I got dunlop 265/50/18 and they have less noise. and last check your wheel alignment and balance, those are the most common prb for noise and unstable ride after 120... TC..

i like the new pajero way more than the older model, think it looks much better. But a correction on the power though. The pajero only produces 250 horses but around 340 Nm or torque.i personally dont like the prado either but its more powerful compared to the pajero

It depends the area where you do live. In some areas its sold as 270hp, somewhere only whit 218hp. Same engine, but I think it has different setup.

True but the most powerful engine that mitsu produces its the 3.8 V6. And 270 is probably the gross hp and not the net hp value. Like i said the hp value is displayed differently, but the net hp (the real figure one must take into account) is only round the 250 mark, with only 330Nm of torque. The prado i have to say has a higher torque figure..

Hahah, are you joking, that engine is far from the most powerful engine produced by Mitsubishi. :) First take a look at smaller cars Lancer Evolutions, the hp/litre ratio is very good. 300-400hp from 2 litre l4. Then of course locomotive engines have a lot horsepowers and a lot of torque.

Well there is L200(Triton) pickup. Challenger(Pajero Sport), wichs new version will be launched in next Moscow Motor show. Then there is some military versions. I dont know do they still make the jeep version. And trucks, I mean bigger trucks/lorrys.
