the cam is too high, no matter what you say, the reference video it is clear the camera is over the helmet and when massa is coming out of the pits you can clearly see his eyes are about 10cm. over the top of the steering wheel, while that cam is like 40 or 50cm over?

Yes, it is too high. The onboard camera is on the TOP of his helmet. The eyes are way lower than the camera from the top of Massa's helmet

the camera was mounted ON TOP of the helmet.

Yes by helmet cam I was assuming it'd be similar to the one placed next to the drivers field of vision used in the champ car series, and there is a video if you can find it of Renault using it.

This Cam is too high for my taste, because if its going to be that high, I'd rather just watch plain onboard style.

And I was being serious, You can't see nearly as much in these things as most people think.

It may be higher then the actual drivers eyepoint, but its still better then the way too low mounted cam DC had in Brazil.

Do you have some tips? (see my page) I am runing a league and some basic good effects (like balck and white) are good but what is more good to have?

the steering wheel is the F2008 steering wheel not the F60!

what you´re seeing is a very early beta.

Infact this video was uploaded days after the presentation of the actual car.

wait for the demo release, it will contain the correct steering wheel.

yea but if you look at 0:55 at that video, you see that the little head camera is mounted at the top left side of the helmet... it would have been much more realistic if the mod had the real view, from the same hight as the eyes

and this is not how i drive in rF,

it was only for this video, trying to recreate the real helmet view footage.

rf has a free cam btw, you can change it to whatever you want.

but i changed quite a few things ;)

Maybe if i can solve some more problems with the track and get permission of the author i could release it as an update.
