Curious about one thing: In trolling through many EK sites and coming across many of his characters - what about his moustache? When he played Percy Dovetonsils, his bushy upper lip becomes a very smoothed-down number. How he do that?
@rolko52 Also realize that he was one of the first advocates of using videotape. In order to maximize his production costs, Ernie would get in costume and shoot many blackout sequences in one or two days and then drop the clips into the shows where he wanted them. It was not unlike shooting a movie. He may have clipped his stache thinner for the Percy clips and then grow it out for his "normal" appearance during the taping of other material.
lol I had that quote engraved on the back of my ipad
