Sonic 06 was still ok. It would have been perfect if the rings were brighter, faster loading, even better graphics, and dlc's. Sonic unleashed just need multiplayer. And SA2 is the best sonic game. Starting to notice a recurring trend here. The worse a Sonic game is, the better the soundtrack is.

Case in point: Black Knight, Seven Rings, and Shadow the Hedgehog had great music, and 2006 might have had one of the best soundtracks of the entire series. The games were pretty terrible but the music is epic as shit. Seems Sonic Team has a bad habit of putting too much work into the music instead of the gameplay.

Colors and Generations seem to have balanced it back out though.
