Oh yes! Great nostalgia ! I got this tape from my uncle when i was about 3 years old. Now i'm 21, and this tape has become one of the most (maybe THE most) precious records i have... I also digitalised it to assure that I would never lose this precious sounds.... When i hear them, i become melancholic....

A small note: are you sure that the speed of the tape is correct? My tape is playing a little faster (on all of my tape recorders).

Straight back to being a child, I drove my folk crazy with this tape. I took it everywhere, car, school and bed. Screamed the house down when the batteries went dead. Thank you so much for the trip down memory lane.

I actually recorded and remastered my tape… So I already have this music saved for 21th century use. I even split the tracks so I can actually hear my favourites whenever I'd like to.

i remember these tapes remember one side had a story and the other side was blank you can record on it i love this tapdeck and collected a bunch of tapes but saadly i dont have any of them infact im looking for particular series of cassett tapes from firsher price from SPELLBOUND had wizard of oz tom sawyer ect..

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! i still have my little yellow tape!!! but not the cassette recorder :( all the labels from the tape have been scrubbed off lol but it still plays well, and on the blank side it has me + my friends recording ourselves wen we were like 7 hahaha, good times. i remember also trying to put lyrics to these tunes hahaha

i don't believe!!!! had this cassette when i was a child, in 1989!! some years ago i made a cover version of the second track, my favourite...only based on my memory because my cassette is disappeared!! and now i can listen it again!!! :D

this is amazing, i remember it like it was yesterday but it must be 20 years since i heard it at least. Im 27 now and cant even remember being given this cassette with the recorder its that long ago. awesome stuff.

Ok i ask someone who is very familiar to music generally. These are (at least the first five tracks) famous french nursery rhymes / folk-songs. The first track is 'Trois jeun's tambours', the second (starting 3:13 ) is 'Il était un petit navire', the third (starting 6:09 ) is 'Sur le pont d'Avignon'

I had the very same cassette when i was a kid, unfortunatly it got destroyed so i never heard it again, until now ahah :-)

i think these songs are based on existing children songs, on 6:10 you hear 'on the bridge of avignon', i dont know the others
