  • Never liked the Sandie Shaw version at all.

    For the record, I hated Shaw's "original" on the flip side of the single, "Steven You Don't Eat Meat" (now THAT was awful).

  • you're wrong ! Sandie's version is brilliant,though I'm a great fan of LLoyd's I can be objective and say that her version is exquisite even Lloyd said so - he was so impressed by it .His word against yours ;besides he's the one who composed it he should know better, don't you think?But then again you're entitled to have your opinion.Democratic country , n'est- ce pas?
