Konami were always better than EA at making football games right up to the point when Fifa11 came out it rocked! While Konami were busy making the same game from 2010 but just adding better facial features and better graphics for arena's, etc they have to make a big improvement and something big to make Fifa 12 look like shit , just exactly when the series was released

Fifa has its problems but they always improve something each year, but they do fail to sort out some of the miner issues. But pes is still miles behind fifa the players move like retards and i can never get over trying to play a match on pes and you see Man Red v London Blues. Fifa is by far better, and pes is still years behind.

Both are shit. Pro Evo can't even get the ball movement right and the last FIFA was painfully slow. The last decent football game was probably Pro Evo 4 seven years ago. This generation of football games have been disappointing and the Winning Eleven games were better than todays games.

If you think Fifa has good gameplay then you don't know football... And have probably never played football... The AI is incredibly unintelligent and never provides offensive support... There is hardly any movement off the ball, and when there is, it is almost solely lateral and often counter-productive... The players slide across the pitch like they're on ice skates, and the controls are way too slippery... Thumbs up... Never mind, too many posers watching...

i'm a fifa man, always have been, but pes is putting in some serious work to close the gap. i would even argue that the graphics here are far better than fifa 12. what people forget is that konami only started looking into next gen titles after the next gen consoles were on general sale. ea were putting in work on their next gen a few years in expectation of next gen, whilst konami continued to dominate the ps2 titles. give it a few years and they will be neck and neck. i can't decide this year.

@thebesttheworst yeah I totally agree the difference between both of them is very small ,just some details ...but it is not a revolution .even in graphics the difference with ps2 isn't very big for the two games.....they don't give a lot importance to the background etc...i think that the real revolution will come when the player could really controls and feel the ball ,and not only runs and shoots.that's the real problem ,the great number of things we can do with a ball is just to great.

From this trailer PES 2012 has got a few things right but not the overall package yet.

They seem to get the importance of momentum and body weight that FIFA dev team still dont seem to focus on enough . . . there are a few examples in the trailer of a defender just putting his weight to one side or on one foot after the attacker has done a feint or stepover etc. ... then the defender can't recover in time and the attacker beats his man, this is realistic to real football.

Tbh, I have enjoyed PES over the years (2008-2011 now), I really don't understand which everyone says its such a bad game, I do spend more time on FIFA however with Ultimate Team. They are both great games, for me I prefer PES graphics, FIFA 11 gameplay however I feel is amazing although there are a TONNE of glitches and bugs
