Ah man!! It's an automatic??? How disappointing that was...who the fuck drives an automatic and supercharges it? Dang bro...nice car but dang dude....
Both setups are good. Both have their own set of pros and cons. I've used both types. I prefer the centrifugal type. This ultimately will have to be a choice for you. Both will be like night and day compared to a stock engine w/o forced induction. All of the kits will also be upgradeable with smaller pulleys and better inner-cooler kits.
Now look at this. Roots build slower 0-6500 for 10psi vs. 3000-6500 for 10PSI. That's my opinion and that's why most roots get their doors blown off. I'm sure others will have the opinions after this statement. I used to be a fan of the roots KB chargers. I loved the whine of my old mustang. I like the quick build of the one I have now. Besides at a dead stop even with a stock /GT there is plenty enough power to spin the tire. Why would you need more chance of wheel spin when leaving the pocket?
Sure there is some lag. But last time I checked the cars typically run near 1K RPM. So lets say you need to build 2K of RPM before the charger begins to build pressure. So What! Stopped at a red light you may power brake a little and the charger will be in its power range of 3K. If your driving down the highway and drop down a gear you'll be in the power range. Most Roots build from engine startup to max RPM. Cent build from 3-max RPM. Now lets say both build to 10psi at max RPM.
Hey buddy, everyone is pushing me to get a roots blower like the eforce or saleen kits. I dont seem to care for them. I cant put my finger on as to why. I want a Procharger or Paxton centrifugal supercharger because they always seem to blow the doors of everyone else. Plus people Everyone tells me that centrifugal superchargers dont make power under 3000 rpm and have lag. Is this true??? How is your power band? Please help. I have the money sitting here but I can not pick one of these systems.
What wheels are those?
Very Nice man
