Mr Bruce could use some lessons ins Gypsy Swing too. Sounds nowhere near to Gypsy Swing. Wrong Technique. If you want to learn Jazz in the style of Django Reinhardt, I wouldn't recommend those tapes.

Hi I just bought Vol. 1 of these books and I am curious why after the second song you stop playing the melodies to the tunes? I mean theres 3 tracks for each song- Why couldn't one of them have the melody?

Hi Shaker, Thanks for the comments. I'm hoping to post more stuff eventually, some with the mandolin. I've been playing along with books' CDs a bunch lately and just having a ball. Getting down and really working on some things. Always a good thing to do!
