Mr Bruce could use some lessons ins Gypsy Swing too. Sounds nowhere near to Gypsy Swing. Wrong Technique. If you want to learn Jazz in the style of Django Reinhardt, I wouldn't recommend those tapes.
Should this CD fall into the wrong hands we would all be doomed! Guard it with your life...and get that speaker fixed! You're missing the best part. ;)
Hi I just bought Vol. 1 of these books and I am curious why after the second song you stop playing the melodies to the tunes? I mean theres 3 tracks for each song- Why couldn't one of them have the melody?
I'm hoping you post something for the mandolin too. I just bought your first mandolin book and I've been using it on the tenor banjo. It's more interesting than any of the tenor books being sold.
Something else came to mind.....a DVD showing this and other tips would also be nice to have on inventory. I could listen and learn from this all night long.
Hey Dix, I've got both books. This video is an excellent integration, very useful tips, it makes the books even more valuable! I would be happy to see more of this! Thanks
Hi Shaker, Thanks for the comments. I'm hoping to post more stuff eventually, some with the mandolin. I've been playing along with books' CDs a bunch lately and just having a ball. Getting down and really working on some things. Always a good thing to do!
now be honest, this wasn't your 1st time playing guitar, was it? just fabulous

@Romamb Ahhh, you caught me! This is my 2nd experience with the guitar. Apparently it's NOT a wind instrument. Who knew? ;)

thanks for sharing Mr. Bruce. As I learn more from seeing and hearing than from a book these little vids are quite helpful.
