@patracy my bad didnt think before i said lol. i know all the xzt does it change where it fuels the most. so what tune would create the most smoke? im not very educated with diesels
hey i just got one of the xzt+ for my 99 cummins. im havin trouble finding the data link connector under the hood. could u tell me where its at? thanks alot.
During the time of this video, I had only installed a BHAF, 3" glasspack muffler, and a better lift pump. The tunes on the XZT+ do not increase the total power. Just how fast it reaches it. The XZT+ is a Can-Bus tuning module that can add 65hp total. 65 more hp is enough to harm a transmission if you're trying to, but not enough for daily driving. Since the video I've built the transmission, added a Adrenaline/Pulse, and 150hp injectors. Turbo, studs, springs, exhaust, and smarty to go!
No, you can't stack them. The XZT+ needs the map sensor (not an issue having multiple boxes stacked in line) But the issue is the data port the XZT+ needs as well as the Adrenaline.
I assume you're talking about the comp or dyno tunes quad has for the adrenaline. If so, no, they're not the same. The boxes are totally different as well. Since I've stacked a quadzilla xilliraider on top of the xzt. It's a great stack!
Hows the trans holding up?

@MrJakediesel Fine, but I've got a billet flexplate, TC, input shaft, valve body, pan, and a few other things.

my buddy has the stock xzt, which updatable tune blows the most smoke and helps the gas mileage? thanks

@KTMdude07 Blowing the most smoke and best gas mileage are polar extremes. Smoke is unburnt/wasted fuel.

@sickcummins22 If it's never been used, it'll be on the engine harness near the power steering pump. They tend to be tied up with a cap on them.
