would love to back in time a black sabbath wish thanx for this material when music was real bill ward still my favorite drummer what emotion sincerely brian metcalfe
Alex Wilson (the guy that recorded this show) had a band called Iron Claw that did some pretty good songs. Thery're coming out with a new album this year.
It's pretty amazing the transformation from stuff like this and the other new discovered things like "when i came down" and The rebel" to the inventor of ultra-heavy rock. Like here they're good but generic sounding for what was happening then.
@DrumGuitarDude it's called Acetates is the name from what i have gathered . there is a another album called Mythology and its all live have both of these albums
Actually, Sheavy have a very Ozzy singer. Listen to Sheavy - Electric Sleep. When it appeared on a fake "Rare Black Sabbath" compilation everyone thought it was Black Sabbath :D
Where on earth do you people find such treasures?? Thanks very much for sharing it with us - this is amazing. Even though many people say Ozzy isn't a good singer, I find his voice is instantly recognizable and unique.
I've just been watching a Black Sabbath DVD which includes an interview with their first manager, in which he relates how Ozzy became depressed because he didn't think he was a good singer, whereas the others could play instruments and read music, etc. He puts Ozzy's wild antics on stage down to the fact that he was compensating for a supposed lack of talent. Lack of talent?? Nothing could be further from the truth!
Like Ozzy sings totally by feel and he doesn't try to dazzle everybody with phony vocal tricks. He is totally himself and it comes out honest and real and it sounds fucking great!
Thanks for sharing :) I'm a huge Sabbath fan and this is really rare stuff. I got The Rebel saved in my favorites...some cool person downloaded the whole song, hope there's more.
This is crazy. Do you have more sounds from this show? You know "For Jim" by Earth... Got it? Gimme gimme gimme. Sabbath rules. Hey, that picture with Oz shorthaired redhead spectacles, what is that? Feed me, brother!!!
And what do you mean by "hard to get video)? Shoot, man!
The short red hair picture is from their days in Earth. Also the song "For Jim" is held on to pretty tight by the fans that do have the full version. Good luck trying to pry that one. - And the paranoid video is in the same boat.
great pics, never seen them before

I do Ozzy at karaoke quite often... and I get applause from Ozzy fans. The Black Sabbath tribute band I'm part of does pretty well in public too.

@DrumGuitarDude
It's from the beat club performances, NIB. It's unreleased and the chances of seeing or getting it are slim. Check my other videos for a sample.
