  • I must insist that you give me the finger!

  • I always thought it would be great if Peter Cushing and Whoopee Goldberg got married . . .

  • Wowww that was tenseee

  • Why does america get classic british horror on dvd, yet in the uk, we cant get it

for love nor money, mad i tell ya.

  • The creeping flesh fucking rules

  • That door sucked ass. Get a better one next time Alfred!

  • He just wanted a finger. That's it!

  • Scared me shitless when I was a kid!

  • This film needs a DVD (preferably a BD release too) re-release in the UK, the DVD that was available became out of print quite quickly.

  • I am 42 years of age and didn't get to see this until I was 14. Damn good movie!!! Extremely creepy and eerie!!!!

  • This movie put a portion of my childhood through absolute hell and terror. Whenever it would rain I'd go into panic about some skeleton reviving itself and killing me. I would draw myself away from dark corners/spaces thinking that its hands would pull me into itself and consume me. Hell, I couldn't even get into my mom's car on the way to preschool without screaming in fear, think that the monster was under the fucking car seat, and would pull my feet and drag me down into a hell-like abyss.

  • I pissed the bed when I first saw this as a child-it was THAT scary!

  • he seriously opened the door?

  • @flyinsolo2 Creature appears to have mind control....

  • I havn't seen this movie. But I kinda want too :o. Can someone tell me the story behind the movie?

  • The flesh monster is chasing me! I'll hide in this room and lock the door. That creature is just outside the door. Is that someone knocking on the door? It is! I had better see who it is. Oh shit its the flesh monster!

  • what a great name for him....THE CREEPING FLESH ROCKS

  • that was freaky the monster thing

  • So is that thing a Frankenstein?

  • @doobiesmoke15 It's an ancient creature whose skeleton grows flesh when water touches it's bones.

  • @richwicz What kind of ancient creature? Dinosaur?Ape-man?

  • @doobiesmoke15 Don't know really, just some kind of old skeleton that the scientist played by Peter Cushing discovered.

  • if i were him i wouldnt open that door

  • For a moment I thought it was the dread Pirate Roberts in a holocaust cloak but it was only the Creeping Flesh....pheww!!!

  • I dont get it what was the movie about? and why was the guy so scared of him?

  • Love this film but Peter Cushing always comes across as a complete and utter pussy in these movies.

  • So that's the movie that that one Ed, Edd, n Eddy episode was referencing... along with Alien, of course...

  • Fantastic film...i can't get the DVD anywhere........

  • hi there..the DVD of the creeping flesh is available from DVDS ONE STOP UK STORE via Ebay...just got a copy myself...11.99 free postage...enjoy !

  • The UK made the best horror films hands down, the Americans should take note leave horror up to peoples imaginations as the human mind can come up with far greater monsters, killers and things going bump in the night than any latest green screen effect. Give me classic horror or give me death, as the great Vincent Price would say.

  • I first saw this years ago on tv. It scared the shit out of me !! great film making

  • This story has the feel of H.P. Lovecraft. The beginning title looked like a picture from: Night Gallery

  • lol how Cushing pre-empted him giving him the finger by cutting it off!

  • I saw this as a kid and I became terrified that the monster would walk in through my door and get me. I litterally barricaded my bedroom!

  • @Tap0k --no reason to be afraid; he just wanted his finger back.

  • Love this movie! I saw it when I was a little kid, and it scared the hell outta me!

  • One of the first movies I ever saw that really scared me shitless! The fact that the monster never utters a sound makes the terror worse.

  • One of the greatest and creepiest movies of the 70's.

  • Man i haven't seen this since the late 80's!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Vader gets his revenge on Tarkin at last

  • great film, I saw this one in Thailand. I was in the Navy at the time and they showed it at the base theater. this is one you don't soon forget.

  • the part with the door opening and the monster walking in is 100% the same as the scene from dreamcatcher with the alien outside the door.

  • Poor Old Man. Get The Fuck Out Of The House Before The Fake Hand Gets You.

  • Skeletons are creepy, especially when they're reanimated with rotting flesh stuck to them! And those POV shots aren't helping any! Though it looks like Grand Moff Tarkin has no way to escape from this one...

  • @LaDracul i find your lack of faith....disturbing...........

  • i loved this when i was a kid.brilliant.

  • I did too I just found it I kept looking for it by describing the movie and then I thought real hard .. Peter something in it yeah that guy that did some horror movies lol. Then I found him and the movie on his IMDB info. Is there a scene where there's a carriage and a casket and the bones fall out or something?

  • Christoper Lee and Cushing made a bunch of these movies together. I noticed that Christopher Lee usually plays a bad ass or the villen. Cushing is usually the hero or the tragic intellectual who gets into trouble. .

  • why did he open the door?? what a moron. hahahahaha

  • Pathetic, the dirty skin garft tosser came the whole way back looking for his minging finger, in which, Cushing prob scratched his arse with abot 10 times that day......hahahahahahahahahaha!

  • make a living out of scaring people half to death hmm

  • So Scrooge got too freaked out by Christmas Future, eh?

  • you got to admit this is really some scarey shit!

  • I watched this movie back in the mid 80's at my friends house. VHS, ahh, how the movies seemed so much better then. Loved this movie, need to watch it again.

  • it's a instant classic no doubt about it.. I agree

  • The last scene of this film is anthological.

    Do you all agree, brothers?

    congrulations for posting it.

  • badass

  • Governor Tarkin and Count Dooku

  • What a great horror movie. Not like the kind of crap that it´s made in this days.

  • @Batata072 wait, you're giving crap a bad name, lol.

  • that old man played in star wars, thats tarkin

  • yes mate, its the late peter cushing, great actor

  • Oh No Peter, You've Got To Do Something!

  • AHAHAHAAAA......lmao !

  • after all these's years, This movie still creeps me out.

  • I want to see the ending, when he is locked up or something and says 'help me, please help me' and has a missing finger!

  • lol that would be great!

  • I want to see the original trailer. I remember it as being truly great and it really made me want to see the movie when I was a kid. I have this on DVD now but it doesn't include the trailer! >: (

  • Upload the whole movie, go on!

  • now this is trully a horror movie!!!

shit this days should take a look at this and learn a thing or 2

  • Peter Cushing is my favourite actor. He really looks terrified!

  • I seen this movie for the first time back in 1972 and loved it. A classic.

  • Upload the whole move PLS!

  • Yes PLEASE upload it!

  • Peter Cushing! He makes the incredible credible! What a face and acting for fantastic stories! Today horror movies don´t have a star like this one.

  • The Creeping Flesh is one of the better 70's English horrors, (along with Hands Of The Ripper, Blood On Satan's Claw, Tales From The Crypt and Asylum ) I'll be adding this to my DVD collection ASAP

  • @lefty5128 Great films, I haven't seen Hands of the Ripper for ages though.I'd add Witchfinder General, Death Line, From Beyond the Grave & Frightmare to your list too.

  • @richwicz They released Hands Of The Ripper on DVD here in Australia as a Hammer triple box set with Vampire Circus & Twins Of Evil (very good prints too), I have all on your list in my collection, plus heaps of others, I'm an old school horror fan, thanks for the suggestions though.

  • Peter Cushing; a very fine actor and a true gent. Creeping Flesh has long been on my wish list. Thanks so much for posting!!
