@bludevl3 u r right they like a rare diamond that no one not even us,the fan, deserve. that how I see, but one day when the world understand how valuable they r to music. then we might have the worthy maybe. I LOVE ARCADE FIRE!!!!!!<3
@Inkblot1218 Don't believe everything you hear, especially when it comes to politics. This song can be applied to Bush, but it can be applied to a great many things. It's mostly about the struggle of a person against the mechanisms of life. The references to soldiers and churches are just metaphor.
Just has an Early Bruce sound, with some early U2 as well. Kind of like The River mixed with early U2. But it has its own sound, and it's great. As they are as a group overall.
I love the grandiose sound. AF is so amazingly good at conveying the message through both the music and the lyrics. I'm also in love with just how...dingy and dirty the music sounds. That's not a bad thing, I just couldn't think of how else to describe it ^^;
When he sings "and when you finally disappear, we'll just say you were never here," it gives me chills. I don't know why. Those are some powerful lyrics. Love arcade fire.
this bands music , just by far and away speaks to me more than anything i've ever heard in my life. I feel communion in this song, although i'm in no way religious.
This world does not deserve Arcade Fire.

What's your interpretation of this song? I've heard numerous people saying it talks about Bush ... interesting.
Anyway, really great song. Love the sound.

It's weird, I really notice Win's lisp on this track, but i barely pick up on it in any other AF songs. Either way, it's beautiful.

The intro sounds a little like some of the organ parts in a 70's classic, "Dr. Phibes"!!! A classic!!!

I'm lost. How can a band "mostly pump out crap," but have the single best album of the decade?

@BeatlesWooHoo
It's actually not bad at all. The original "Arcade Fire" EP is one of my favourite albums.

I know, their EP is great!! I'm talking "A Very Arcade Christmas" here.

Maybe you could of simply said, "it's too good for words to explain" or something along that line.

No paro de escucharla y me encanta. Solo espero que no haya nadie tan imbécil en el mundo como para criticar una cancion sin haberla oido antes.
Precioso el tema, preciosa tú. TQ
