Outstanding video, I love the supers and when they put those wings on, they are lighting fast. I was at the Port City 150 two weeks ago and what a great show they put on, the Mods were also entertaining.
That's great! That's the same drug-like high that keeps me coming back to racing. It's very gratifying that a video I posted could do that for you, and it makes my efforts worthwhile. Thanks for sharing your feelings!
at 2:45 is one of the most beautiful sights ul see in motorsports. the anticipation during the parade lap hightens excitment, raises hairs, n gives goosebumps that almost hurt. it even brings a tear of joy to my eye.
Hey Crisgo3d, I am not sure about the story behind those cars. All I know is that I LOVE the injector stacks on the Sweet 16 car, being uneven lengths and colored blue like a Labatt Blue can. Weekly winged races might be a cool thing! I am not sure if the car owners would like it or not, but I know I would. Thanks for the comment!
Thanks for posting. I wish they would run weekly supermodified races at Oswego with wings or have more special races with the wings. I cannot believe the Sweet 16 car is still racing. Is that the old car fixed up or is that a new one? I know the car Doug Heveron raced was the old car he raced in the 80s with.

I SINCERELY hope the track survives another 50 years, but I have my doubts.
For a median effort and lots of luck regarding crashes and engine problems, it takes about $5000 to race a Supermodified on a typical Saturday night.
For the limited exposure and even more limited
marketing value, it's truly a rich mans HOBBY.
But....If I won the Mega Millions next week, I'd be putting together a team and car(s) the following week for sure!
