  • love elvis!!! <3 AMAZING! <3

  • i like both

  • all time favourite...sad he´s not a german guy :(((((((

  • Todays music is a joke compared to this!

    For me? The Greatest!

    Greats from Bavaria, Germany

  • elvis ist the king of kings for all time

  • Waylon wrote it. But this is not a new version. It came out in 1981. It was just remastered and some instruments were added to the original 1967 - 1969 recording.

This one is my favorite of all.

  • Absolutly love this remix 5 stars!

  • one of the sexiest men that ever lived

  • @WilliamPierce38 *ahem* Probably the sexiest ;) He was the entire package...Beautiful man, Beautiful Voice, Beautiful Soul. And he was always so polite :)

  • beautiful song. and nicely done . waylon he was a great singer and performer. we miss ya both

  • This song was written by Waylon Jennings.

  • @CashPresley32 Waylon sang this but Billy Joe Shaver wrote it I like both but Waylon did it better i think good song either way.Take Care

  • Awesome

  • great version indeed...

  • How could you leave us Elvis, we were so many to love you.....

But we never know no how ill you were...

We so sorry we did´nt notice..

Rest in peace my dear... We miss you....

  • How did I miss this?! *****

  • nice arrangement but in desperate need of some good pedal steel guitar - really miss Mr. Moon here!!!!!

  • Elvis did this song nicely, but a really great version is by Waylon Jennings recorded in 74 and released on the Waylon Live album in 76.

  • This surely is the version from the "Guitar Man" album 1981..? Felton Jarvis, Elvis` producer, "jazzed" up a bunch of songs with questionable results.

  • yes, I have that album and have made videos from the songs.

  • Great Version!!!!

  • The song was written by Billy Joe Shaver and recorded by Waylon Jennings.

  • never heard the 2nd vers it wasn´t on my cd

omg i so love this song! i really love this man and his music sooo much ;)

  • Love Elvis but this is Waylon's all the way

  • simplemente genial!!!

  • fantastic it tells my life also 10 2008

  • Anyone who likes this song hasn't really heard it till they buy Waylon Jennings Live CD he recorded in Texas in 1974. I think it was orininal released in 1976 . I think the CD is just called "Waylon Live" - But I'll warn you once you here it on there you won't like to watch this movie as much... and I love Elvis!!

  • Yea Ive got the Waylon Live CD its great but this is good Elvis done this old BillyJoe Shaver song justice.

  • That's right! And you could say the same for many of the songs on Waylon Live and some of those released later on the Expanded Edition. They're simply on another level. It's like those are the only versions I wan't to hear. I love elvis too!

  • don't call me a fool because everything is alright and working out for me...very good song elvis he's number 1...the king

  • Elvis could sing country and blues effortlessly: he was all blue-eyed soul - all the way!

  • Great!!!

  • LLLLOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEE YOUR ELVIS SO MUCH Elvis your my icon you are the light of my life i love you im 13 and i was born into your music and plus i know my name is JoeJonasIsHot but thats because i love elvis and the jonas brothers so love you elvis thanks for this vid

  • the guitar playing is by jerry reed.

  • Elvis, there will never be another person to come close to his voice,or fame. We lost such an icon so early in life. He opened our eyes to perscription drug abuse. It was kept in the closet until Elvis died, he opened the door for many to recover.

  • thats what you think

  • Fantastic new version. Love it a lot. Thanks.

  • Super Video! I've always loved this song. It was written by Waylon Jennings. Waylon also recorded it and performed it live.

  • Elvis is the King of the Kings in music!

good video, super song and strong voice of Elvis give you 5 stars

  • This has always been one of my favorite Elvis songs. I've only heard Elvis sing this song. I like the other version of this song so much better. Elvis will always be #1. I'm so very honored to be an avid Elvis collector. Thank you so very much for making and posting that video, 5 Stars.

  • hahaha great!!! never heard this version, very cool....ELVIS PRESLEY!!

  • This is the 80's remix by producer Felton Jarvis. It's great !

  • The voice from another planet in action great song 5*

  • you can tell the differance in the sound, it is so perfect just like elvis. i really love this song. he made it his own if you ask me.

  • Thats not live but nice footage. I dont think EP ever sang that live.

  • You're right.

  • This has always been one of my favorite Elvis songs. This very marvelous and very fun song should be way better known than it is. Elvis will always be #1. I'm so very honored to be an avid Elvis collector. Thank you so very much for making and posting that very terrific video, 5 Stars.

  • Great song by Waylon, but this ain't live and it definately ain't 1970!TCB.

  • I am "almost" sure that Elvis never did that song live. Am I wrong? I hope so

  • Yes. Elvis never sang live this song. He recorded this on December 11, 1973 at the Stax Studio in Memphis.

  • yes on the Elvis Today album:o)

  • No. This song was released on "PROMISED LAND" album.

  • Oh yes you are right

  • This couldn't have been recorded live in 1970 by the king. Waylon and Billy Joe wrote this tune in 1973 for Waylon's Honky Tonk Heroes album.

  • good video, but was fixed, mouth was not going with the song, , but still another great song recorded by the king

  • Nice song. but this isn't live singing.

  • Yes. Elvis never sang live this song!!!

  • I like Elvis's better than Waylon's--even if this one sounds like a "remixed" version. Elvis originally recorded the song in 1973.

  • I agree that Elvis sung a better version! Now don't get me wrong Waylon is a great singer ,but he is no king!!

  • waylon version= much better

  • love elvis but waylon kicks his ass

  • ol ya you can put a smile on my face,so much talent

  • I'm an elvis an much as the next guy, but no one can sing and perform this song like outlaw musician Waylon Jennings. It's on Youtube check it out i'm sure you'll agree as well.

  • Yeah i agree, but i don't think you can compare these songs. They're so different :)

  • Comment removed

  • @ramblinrandell

actually, no one can sing it like Billy Joe Saaver, the guy who wrote it !

71 years old today on the aniversary of Elvis' death (and still performing)

  • very good
