When will there be a classic handheld console with updated graphics? None of this new joystick/trigger crap. I want a regular Game Boy Pocket with updated platformers and RPG's that retain the classic feel, 360/PS3 graphics, and a display that rivals the iPhones retina display. Unfortunately this'll probably never happen. Nintendo is like to try a four-joystick controller with five screens than anything people actually want. Also, PS Vita would be better if it had cloud-like gaming to PS3.

Comparing Uncharted to Mario Kart is so biased. The Vita has been advertised plenty enough. But the 3DS has more 'must have' games for its fans. The Vita just doesn't.

This is quite sad as i don't want sony to flop, but with the ps3 coming 3rd out of 3 in the 7th generation of home consoles and the psp always far losing to the ds. if the psv doesn't do something for them, sony are screwed or they'll have to pour every last drop of money into the ps4 to make it innovative and the best console of the 8th generation. But this is sad, i have always liked sony consoles. But i guess they aren't completely done for because they do stuff other than gaming.

Even when they were the same, sony wasn't selling as much Vita as Nintendo was selling 3DS. Then Super Mario 3D land came out and sales spiked again. But the Vita has yet to bring a unique killer app. They're already losing money on their price tag, so the price will not drop.

Says PSP was decent DS as well as 3ds is for kids (with a few games thrown in to grab the hardcore gamers atention) the reason it sells so well is because parents get it to shut their kids up n givem something to do plus its cheap otherwise it wouldn't be where its at today don't believe me look at the sales when it was 249.99. The vita has amazing potential although it has a long way to go and is def lacking in the advertising department
All I can say is that I enjoy the graphics more on the psp and the vita and I enjoy games more when graphic detail is high. I don't like the Wii or the Ds or 3DS...they are so backwards and the graphics are terrible. That is my personal opinion of course.

I had a 3ds but quit playing it because most of the games are remakes and are too easy for me. Also there's hardly any variety. How many fighting/racing/sports games do you need? The 3ds is just now getting an rpg? That's a remake again. I'm sticking with Sony from now on. They've got a line up of games I can't wait to try.

yeah I agree it's a flop atm, memory for it is too expensive and for a decent card you need £50 so fuck that. plus it has a poor launch in comparison to the 3ds which had 7 good games vs 1 on the psvita in other words blazblue continuum shift extend is the only good launch title on vita also with no backwards compatibility it's looking like a poor system lacking what made the psp great and charging you to access your pre paid content on the vita where as with the 3ds you can just get it.

I have a 3ds It hase ok graphics nothing to brag about ps vita has GREAT graphics for a handheld console great launch titles very responsive touchscreen and lots of NON corny Shooters like the ones on the 3ds, the only good games on the 3ds are mario kart and super mario land. i have already pre order my 3g vita and 3 games and some accessories I'm 100000 times more exited for it than the ads I'm counting down the days until the 23 of feb launch YAY!!!

When will there be a classic handheld console with updated graphics? None of this new joystick/trigger crap. I want a regular Game Boy Pocket with updated platformers and RPG's that retain the classic feel, 360/PS3 graphics, and a display that rivals the iPhones retina display. Unfortunately this'll probably never happen. Nintendo is like to try a four-joystick controller with five screens than anything people actually want. Also, PS Vita would be better if it had cloud-like gaming to PS3.

This is quite sad as i don't want sony to flop, but with the ps3 coming 3rd out of 3 in the 7th generation of home consoles and the psp always far losing to the ds. if the psv doesn't do something for them, sony are screwed or they'll have to pour every last drop of money into the ps4 to make it innovative and the best console of the 8th generation. Even when they were the same, sony wasn't selling as much Vita as Nintendo was selling 3DS. Then Super Mario 3D land came out and sales spiked again. But the Vita has yet to bring a unique killer app. They're already losing money on their price tag, so the price will not drop.

The Vita sold 500,000 units since launch. Is this where Sony wanted to be? No. But.is it a failure? Not even close. The vita has released in one region and still has plenty of launching to do. yeah I agree it's a flop atm, memory for it is too expensive and for a decent card you need £50 so fuck that. plus it has a poor launch in comparison to the 3ds which had 7 good games vs 1 on the psvita in other words blazblue continuum shift extend is the only good launch title on vita also with no backwards compatibility it's looking like a poor system lacking what made the psp great and charging you to access your pre paid content on the vita where as with the 3ds you can just get it.

anyway, if you do your research you'll know that the 3DS sold more in its first nine days since its release than the Vita has done so far in its five weeks and two days since that released last December. this is just Japan by the way, the handheld gaming country of the world.

@hismindovermatter ill give you that nintendo is better because i did play that first and the games were fun. but they need to catch up on some things. cause 3d isnt a big deal. is the games that count. the vita is better i say cause of the hardware but thats it. they need to work on games though. both consoles do.

i'm just stating facts here. vita's got alot of power, but at what cost? look at the ps3, it struggled big time thanks to Sony pumping it with unnecessary components (mostly the blu-ray drive)

@hismindovermatter heres a fact. if it wasnt for the blu ray. the ps3 couldnt play metal gear solid 4 or god of war 3. the discs hold alot of gb. thats why ps3 only uses one disc for ff13 and xbox uses 2
