@bellamoonnature The shaking comes naturally since I never get used to using a tripod. This camera is great for MP4 videos for yt videos and fits perfectly in a shirt pocket. I did this vid within 24 hours of unboxing, so it had some handling flaws. But it's a great success for me when viewers in 133 different countries have seen and enjoyed it. I recommend the camera. @TheTheCatshow89 Thank you. I heard good things about the Panasonic. However, I wanted just a small camera to put into my front shirt pocket. The Hx5v is only 28mm thick and fits perfectly. As you can see - I use it for great photos and videos, but this video was done without any practice ONE DAY after unpacking. I have more experience now. Thanks for comment & watching.

Beautiful resolution of the video with your camera! ^_^ Just yesterday, I madea translation from English to Italian of a track on the Yosemite National Park in Sierra Nevada... I was impressed watching the wonderful photos of the giant secular Sequoias and animals (foxes, squirrels, coyotes and even bears)!

@Templehawk Thank you. Win Live Movie maker is included in Win7 OS. It will place an icon on the desktop from where you can sign in and work with it. I find it basic, but great.

@frsde60 Terima kasih. I used Sony's PMB (picture motion browser) which came with the camera, and Windows Live Movie Maker which is a free software that comes with Windows7 OS. Hope this helps. :)
@calikalinfo Both have 10MP resolution, but I bought the Hx5v because of its 10x optical zoom. The Tx7 has only a 4x zoom which is in my opinion very inadequate for its price. It is worth to pay about $80 more for the Hx5v and be happy with every photo and zoom video you shoot. I took the above vid one day after unpacking, so I made still a few mistakes. It's the best camera I ever had...

@calikalinfo I looked at the best quality videos I could find (like from brunello1997) and asked these people what camera they used. It was the hx5v. Then I checked more, and checked on Amazon, and came out with opting for the hx5v again. It is terribly confusing to find the proper VALUE & the right features, but the hx5v should be your best shot with the 10x zoom. BTW, I'm NOT paid by Sony to promote their products,haha. :)

@leonmol Hi Leon, I got my Sony HX5V 4 weeks ago, and it was the latest model. Just did a search for HX5VB and they make you believe that it has an extra 20x digital zoom. However, the HX5V has the same digital zoom, and both can only be activated in low-quality resolution, as in VGA or less than 2MP. I guarantee you don't want this after you got used to the extreme good quality of the optical zoom. Watch all 3 of my sample videos and decide from there. :)

@donaldfiebing Ja, idyllisch ist es. Thanks for comment. For editing I used Arcsoft Photoimpression from Kodak which I still have from an older camera. It lacks a few things but doesn't compress as much as Win Live Movie Maker. Sony software keeps good track of everything but is not good for editing. And that's my editor/editing experience - very little.
