how can the love for the prophet be pushing us to the boundary of shirk when allah himself showed love for him by sending durood on the prophet. the one who shows love towards prophet will be the successer on the day of qayamat coz it will be the prophet that will giv a good word to allah for you.
Really the voice is very good. Lyrics are also good. But i agree with Dilz 777. We should avoid words which may take us to the boundries of the shirk.
Saying naat is a good way of showing love for Mohammed (PBUH), But the best way is to learn and act upon what Muhammad (PBUH) has taught us May Allah put us all on the right track so that we learn teachings of prophet (PBUH) and this is the mendatory way to make Allah and Muhammad (PBUM) happy with us.
The line..."Na kabay say matlab, na masjid ki chahat..." (6.25..) Is Seriously wrong! and i would say borderline shrik! ..Other than than that its a great naat.
The Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم (peace and blessings be upon him, our Master), did not fear Shirk for his Ummah, according to Sahih Muslim; We should not either. :)
Maybe..but that is still not a justification for the lyrics....Put it this way....Do you think the Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) would accept lyrics like that?
i agree dilz777 correct me if im wrong but isnt there a hadith which mentions that the prophet muhammed (saw) told his ummah not to over glorify him (saw) like the christians over glorified Isa (as).
