  • I saw him for the first time in Mexico, in Puebla de Los Ángeles City... it was amazing, every sound dropping from his saxophone and cello was so intense; that I coudn't do anything but remember who he was, and how big music players can be when they transform the musc in something else, something meaningful. He is definitely a great One. Salute.

  • Wow! I heard about him from my Dad (who is 77 years old). My dad is a professional brass player (trombone, trumpet) and music teacher (all brass instruments). Dana was a former trombone student of his and my Dad happened to see him at the San Jose Jazz Festival last month. My Dad (Dick Leland) is VERY proud of and happy for Dana!
