This is my favourite Neil Sedaka song, and arguably one of his best, lyrically and musically. Too bad he didn't play the piano on the whole song, though I can understand why; to play the song well means concentrating on one's instrument rather than connecting with the audience. I believe the duet he's referring to is his mid-70s hit "Bad Blood" which, I think, also featured Elton John.
