I have a question for you. Why do American women feel that being able to move on quickly from a relationship is a sign of being strong? Cause it seems im seeing more n more women these days who find it easier to move on than actually work at it. how do you get first dates? I always get rejected on the "zero'th date" the date before the first date, the one where you're chatting to someone and think ok I'll kind of weave into the conversation that maybe we could go out sometime, thats when the zero'th date ends.

Two first date no-nos from my experience:

1. If you are driving to the restaurant, and the song, "I Touch Myself" by the Divinyls comes on the radio, DON'T sing along. Nothing you can possibly say can cut through the awkwardness after that.

2. If you are taking a date to see the Watchmen movie, make sure she has read the novel first. Otherwise, well, what are you exactly saying by taking her to a movie with a big blue penis swinging in her face for 3 hours?

Every date I've ever been on pretty much tanked. Lately the dates I've been on haven't been too bad, I usually take my date to a nice restaurant then the food gets most of my attention but on some occasions my date is so hot I can't help but stare which is bad too. It's really a no-win situation for me because I completely skipped that class on how to become a player. :)

I once went out on a first date with a girl who said nothing the entire night except (yes, no, maybe). This was a shock and it wouldn't have been bad except she stared at me the whole night, it was just weird. It was one of those Linda Blair/Exorcist stares. I was afraid I had something in my teeth or hanging out of my nose or even worse, accidently said something offensive but I didn't. She then got mad because I didn't ask her out on a second date....um....yeah. I hate blind dates.

Is it bad that I've never been on a real first date?

I mean its always started just like hanging out & when it serious enough we'd go on a date date! But I wouldn't consider that the first date cause by that time we'd already know what to talk about & what attracted us to each other. And its not awkward like I imagine it would be for a real first date!
