volkswagen weighs less anyways its a unibody fram and the engione weighs like only 200 pounds and the body is all made from sheet metal. plus on drag bugs they mostly use fiberglass front ends. in some cases a bug wieghs no more then 1500 kilograms

@jberling1 Your're so wrong, volkswagen does weigh a lot less, about 850 ~ 900 kg, it does not have a unibody, the beamer does. If you decide to put a fiberglass body on a bug the weighed doesn't go over the 750 ~ 800 kg. The beamer comes in around the 1250 ~ 1400 kg. I don't know how stripped the car is, but it's hard to get below the 1100. VW (still) rules

Actually, only the 914-6 had a flat 6, like a 911, but it was only 2.0 litres. VW Type IV and Porsche 914 use the EXACT SAME engines. Regardless, they all put out less than 100HP in stock form.

How does it not have a frame? They all have some sort of "frame"- it doesn't have to be limited to frame rails. I'm assuming the M3 is of a unibody construction? If so, yes, it does have frame rails... The only thing is, they're a part of the body. And even at that, it could have twisted, or flexed, the car, and if it does have 800 horses, I wouldn't be surprised if it did.

actually, porsche, bmw, lamborghini, audi, and mini are all owned by Volkswagon. the front suspension isnt recked on here its just that because of the michilin pilot 265/40-18 tires, they're gripping the track and its torque is popping the front up. so NOO VW isnt a porsche company. its vise versa. and snoopers is right. if the beetle had anything near 800 hp it would absolutly rape the M3
