@Ashennib Well as far as I heard they were fighting for "freedom" in a country that was financially well off. That's something not even the Americans or the Europeans can say. And now they're financially going to be a lot worse off, more poorer than the Egyptians. Ah wait, you're a witch who enjoys the British established royal family of Libya.
@faro0485 Obviously you are not knowledgable about Libya and have been reading too much green book and Gaddafi propaganda. Libyan under Gaddafi are not well off at all. 60% are poor making less than $2 / day. Most streets are unpaved, no postal service, hospitals are disfunctional, educational systems are poor, no trash pick up, etc, etc, most importantly people were opressed, tortured, and killed by the thousands- thus the revolution. so, hat you are hearing does not reflect the reality.
@faro0485 you are insulting Libyans as incapable of aspiring to freedom and dignity on their own without incitement from NATO/western powers. Libyans are capable of desiring freedom and we did so.Ordiniary Libyans rose up to demand freedom after 41 years of brutal dictatorship. NATO had nothing to do with our aspirations, althoug we are grateful for their intervention. Yes, there is plenty of proof that there was rampant poverty in Libya but i doubt you care about the truth.
Great video.
