Ray, to some might not be up there with Cash, Jennings, Haggard, Jones, Nelson, Twitty, etc. ect. But i tell you one thing, he is more than just a singer, he is a songwriter/producer/mixer-engi­neer/composer/arranger etc. etc. He gets all my respect, and I sure from the rest of the country stars....I hope he creates another hit like " What a way to go ".....Maybe I'll shoot him a couple of my new country songs.....

Freakin un-real....This is by far the best and only pure country song around!! I was turned on to it when it came out, and I could not remember who it was or the name of the song, until I hummed it to my new girlfriend...and she knew who it was...I am totally LED ZEPPELIN, but was raised on country music...This song is so freakin country, that I have played it on repeat 100 times..for real...Ray is the man, he does it all himself. I own a studio in MD. and the effects and the mix is the BEST!!!

Just wanted to comment and say the bar scenes in this video was done in DENISON, TX. My kids grandmother ran the bar, can't remember what the name of the bar is but we all got copys of it and I'm sure after I post this she will comment and everyone will know she was a star for a few!!!!!!!
