He's not. BW uses demil rifles which are full weight, not those alternative arms rifles which weigh like 3 lbs.

yeah gotta say the more weight a rifle has the harder it is to do stuff but all that crap is still possible u just gotta work harder and get stronger. I was on the CLHS drill team in IN. we are the only team in that region that actually spins with rifles that have some weight. Springfield and Marmion can all shut up b/c yeah they look good but the still spin freaking band rifles.

Lol, Marmion has normal weighted rifles. How else can they be in the DEMILITARIZED ARMS division at Nationals? They were AMAZING!!!

The painful truth is as follows:

Manufacturer weight specification for...

M1 Garand - 9 lbs 8 oz;

M14 - 9 lbs 3 oz

03-A3 - 8 lbs 11 oz.

Demilitarizing a weapon adds about 2 - 3 oz of weight, and even if the barrel was completely filled with lead, it would add no more than 6 - 8 oz.

the weight diffrence between the 3 is almost unnoticable its all about the way you spin not the weight of the rifle... now i use the 1903's and i can just as easly spin an M1 or an M14... unless its those god damn 2 lb parade rifles... those are for 6 year olds...

Yeah but the AF Honor Guard is very precise but boring to watch. You couldn't do half the shit Mike can do. Mike Moad is one of the best high school drill lords. You could only dream of being as good as him or me. I only wish I had the chance to compete one on one against him when I was in Judson H.S. jrotc.
