Frogs have been one of my favorite types of animals for a very long time, so much so that at one point I thought I wanted to become an anuratologist (one who studies frogs and toads). News of the likely extinction of a multitude of frog species is extremely disheartening. What can be done to help? There's so many global problems currently occuring, how do you get people who choose to ignore problems to care about frogs and every other species in mortal peril? Its so very frustrating!

My bullfrog is about is 3.8" long now, healthy and happy. Man can they jump! My Bull is 1 year and 5 months old. I did not grow up with these Bull's, instead I had Norther Wood Frogs, alot differnt and smaller. Bull frogs are beasts!
Awesome. We have lots of these guys in our front yard pond. We do not ever use any pesticides, fertilizers or herbicides on our property because of the wildlife we treasure. Our frogs are soothing white noise in the evenings, pleasant announcers of spring, and feed our hawks and wild minks. LOVE LOVE LOVE frogs!!!!

Read on a little bit more about frogs and amphibians maybe you'd learn it might be the most graceful animal there is. Imagine how it has outlived the dinosaurs and how amazing it is they survive the ice time, there are frogs who can be without food for years, there been frogs surviving even at some of the hottest places of earth, losing frog species is a huge warning sign that there's something wrong. The frogs are by far more amazing than humans.
I enjoyed this video, it reminds me of my summers catching these creatures without end. It was done well and the picture quality was great, but it would have been much better if the VA would have used a different herpifauna because of these frogs are such a problem to unnative territory for them, they destroy ecosystems and ive seen it happen.
Bullfrogs are still very much a problem in the areas where they are non-native. At home they face their own challenges, but abroad they make life miserable for a lot of the native frogs. They have no problem snacking on the natives.
But what clumsy hunters they are. Oh, also, didn't anyone tell them that they really don't have to go into full on attack mode on earthworms? Ah well.

We went with something as dramatic and over the top as we could. Somehow it fits with the slo-mo bullfrogs
