  • Slave to misery...Causing suffer...Torment,torture i wanna see you suffer...Total classic real lines/lyrics.

  • ESO SI ES METAL NO JODA, PA Q SEAN SERIOS

  • I was at this show!! I must have went to the Omni every other weekend in the late-80's-early 90's!! I remember I actually had to flip a coin to see which band I wanted to see...because these two bands played in the same week!! I only had enough money for one......heads Napalm Death, tails King Diamond!! Tails it was!! Ahh....the good old days!!

  • excellent musicians

  • My all -time favorite part: "you can't afford to be...as fucking dumb as you seem!"

  • Such a great performance.

  • great quality, most sadus live videos sound like shit

  • Oakland Omni ruled, all the sickest shows wer there

  • It's too bad this album didnt get the credit it deserves.

  • what album was this off?

  • A VISION OF MISERY, 1992

  • Horns up to Steve the badass bass fretboard burner!! \m/ \m/

  • wasn't the Omni in Berkeley?

  • No Oakland!

  • my fav Sadus song

  • Someone post the studio version of this!

  • cliff drove metallica to another way maybe their stile would be simular like sadus and it was going that way ride the lightning is a great album

  • fucking kickass song! cheers Sadus!

  • I used to write to Darren & Steve all the time. This was my favorite album (Black was before this came out). I used to listen to this constantly. 16 yrs. later & it's still fucking amazing. Don't know why these guys were so great (except the obvious reasons): they were just so fucking intense & on Vision; deep.

  • indeed digiorgio is a badass bass player, slave to misery is prob my best song from sadus,he was also awesome on human and individual thought patterns

  • hey was this the show they played with Obituary?? I saw Sadus at the Omni with Obit and Cannibal Corpse..amazing time..

  • No, at this show, they played with Autopsy.

  • I agree with you 100% Nocturnaloverlord. while I do have to say Cliff Burton was probably one of the most influential bass players in metal, but like you said it's a damn shame he (Cliff) died before we could see his full potential (people on youtube please don't turn this into a Steve Digiorgio/Cliff Burton flame war)

  • Yeah but Cliff never got the chance to reach his full potential on the bass. He died way before his time, same goes for Roger Patterson. No one knows how great these guys would have become if they were still alive. Personally I don't treat music as a contest like sports. I just worry about the overall sound, thats what appeals to me. But yeah Steve is a fucken legend, no wonder so many bands hired him.

  • @NocturnalOverLord It's too bad he spent so much time with death that sadus had to stop though. Death is awesome, but I think if steve would have spent more time with his original band, they wouldnt have broken up right after a vision of misery, and they might have been more popular.

  • I KNOW I will catch some shit for this but whatever I hate when people always compare Cliff Burton to Steve Digiorgio, although Cliff Burton was my earliest bass influences Steve Digiorgio is just so much better. Slave to Misery is a bad ass song!

  • yer right about that cliff was bad but digiorgio along with sadus style of music is more complex lot of up and down the fret board type stuff, steves a bad muther fucker he ranks up there

  • Hail the almighty Sadus! Top band, album, song and great musicians.

  • this is just wonderful.

  • cliff is alive!!!! his playing bass lol

  • Nice.

But i hate it when they fucking miss steve's solo's. and they always do!
