@TopazDupree its weird.. in my opinion, i think #3 hit is the BEST and Miler being the second, and the platters being the third. i love all though. Who actually MADE the song though..anyone? I love this so much.

People who listened & danced to big band music in the 1930s & 40s wanted music with a good melody that they could dance to. The Ink Spots, of course, were famous for their great vocal harmony. The Platters, very popular in the early years of rock and roll, had hits that were romantic ballads, & lead singer Tony Williams had a fantastic voice. Teens bought the records and made them hits.
