  • i want that horse!

  • where is that place? it's fantastic!!

  • Beautiful horse and cute dog! I wish I had a horse. THe first time I rode a horse was in Block Island, we rose on the beach, then went back to the stable. The second time was in Lake George and we went through the woods and one of the instructors thought that there was a bee hive next to a rock, so everybody had to go under a bunch of branches and a lot of the people got scratched or their clothes got torn. Luckily, I didn't.

  • heel knap dat uw/jou paard dat kan!

mijn paard loopt aleen een stuk mee , maar op het strand lukt dat echt niet(al geprobeerd)

  • Wauuw! Beautiful video. I'm not so surprised that the horse follows you (they do that instinctively). But I'm amazed that he doesn't run home to the stable after a while *g* - that you can depend on him 100% and actually walk on the beach with him without a leash.. Beautiful..

  • Wow, that is just so beautiful to watch. I am new to horses, and I'm afraid I'm not quite comfident enough in the saddle yet, so I have just begun clicker training my mare, Rose. She is young(just barely 3) so it is kinda helping both of us take those baby steps up and build trust. It is going wonderful but it's still taking a lot of work. Seeing this reminds it will all pay off. Thank you! :)

  • My god, that horse is amazing.

This video, and this video alone has

changed my mind completely on my plans with horses. My dad and I were going to purchase a mare and breed her, using clicker training with the foal. I am now 100% positive I am going to adopt a pmu rescue.

absolutely gorgeous gelding. i love him.

  • It really made me wish I was there on the beach with another horse. Lovely!!!

  • Wow! I am so impressed. I trick train, but this, This, I have to learn more about. I tried it once. I will have to try it again. Too bad you are so far away. Maybe I will see you on the Imagineahorse yahoo group. Again, very very impressed.

  • I LOVE PERCHERON'S TOOO! they are like 17 hands aren't they??? big horsies and so much fun.

  • Is your horse Friesian??? is it is it is it? I love Friesians.

  • thanks for the compliment! No, he's not a Friesian, but a Percheron Cross. Kind of a mutt :)

  • First I gotta say, my goats mug me for banana peels, and will eat whole pears in 2-3 bites, and apple cores, apple peels, orange peels, ect ect lol. Maybe if I could clicker train them to back up lol. Or touch things or all kinds of things. Also, look up the clicker trained sheep. My goats would rip up and eat a cardboard box lol.

  • Firstly, I must say I am very jealous of that beach! I have a 2 1/2 year old rescue draft cross myself. He has come really far in his nh training from not even coming near me in the beginnning! I am giving clicker training a try to work on certain areas. Your video is an inspiration and you truly have an amazing horse!

  • thats a really bad habbit your going to create by hand feeding that horse.......that will most likely cause him to start biting wondering where his food is when you dont have it......:[

  • Actually I have been using food as a reward for years and when done right, you teach them to have patience around the food. Oliver never mugs me and is very polite. you can't hear in the video, but I make a clicking noise when he does something right and then he gets his treat. If you would like more information, I would check out clicker training on the web. This is a very positive and science based training method and creates a wonderful relationship.

  • @kcaporale It's so lovely to see more people around the world using this method. It's a brilliant system to use. You and your horse look so lovely!

  • Clearly, this lady has complete control of her horse and I doubt at this point it would think about biting her.

  • I'm so glad you didn't put music to this lovely video - I was in a trance watching it and listening to the surf and the horses hoof beats ;). Great job all around.

  • he don't run away?

  • Beautiful work. A young horse in an exciting environment, with treats involved (and a dog), and he is very polite and in control of himself (not mugging you or running into to you), and very brave about the surf. What fun. Great job!

  • extreme great!!

  • very, very cool....gotta to admit I wear my "saltwater yucky boots" when I do this with my horses. I just can't convince my toes to take the chance...LOL. What a great tribute to clicker training.

  • Very cool and fun video! I want to do that!

  • Awesome video. The horse and owner look very relaxed. She includes a link to her website at the end with more information about clicker training.
