We have schizophrenia, you don't have to play along. We don't care stop giving us money, if thats what has to happen, our lives are not tv shows. what you dont understand is i dont care about this, you act like everyone is stupid
what cool person wants to be like 99%? what happened to originality being celebrated diversity, etc? occupy just seems likes a psychological ploy o the government, a socially acceptable, parent friendly method of rebellion
when will faiths focus only on spirit and not on the physical world? never have i been to a church where the only thing they said was God, and thats all, in fact they will try to stop you from thinking only of God, God as the whole, they will try to give stories andd rules but anything else is a distraction, its just karma, all there is is love, lose the stories.
Normally a speech given by somebody speaking in their second language is not my first choice, but this lovely nun's talk, due it's richness and the enthusiasm with which she delivers I completely forget any mispronunciation and/or grammar misuses. Personally I feel very happy that around six months ago I found this channel, because at this time I was feeling disgruntled with the more esoteric buddhist traditions, and I found this channel's practical advice was exactly what I was looking for.
Thank you sister, this was exactly what I needed right now. 'How highly we think of ourselves and how much of pain we give our own selves trying to expect ourselves to be that ideal we have created alternatively to our selves as we are'
@Ashitanoyuki they love themselves, therefore they commit suicide. they dont really wanna die. all they want is for the pain to stop. i deal with a lot of people with major depression, thats how I know this piece of fact.
@novemberainy I am sorry but i cant agree with that. If that's the case, then everyone loves himself. And the bikuni dont need to talk about this subject here. People that try to hurt themselves intentionally obviously dont love themselves.

A very wise talk. I also enjoy the humor and lightheartedness from many of the monks. Thanks for repeating the questions, too.

This is actually quite a good, sound, no B.S. talk - don't let bhikkhuni Hasapanna's difficult accent discourage you from listening!
