Collectivism in Cuba made Cuba a strong economy but with the fall of the Soviet Union they were left in the dust their largest export was sugar cane and no one else would buy. @louietesta in Venezuela we have power cuts on a daily basis, many basic goods dissapear from supermanrkets, in my city San Cristobal we have to line up for hours to put gas in our cars in acountry that used to produce 3.5 bd of oil and 2 million of products now produces 50% of this. Collectivism in Cuba made Cuba a strong economy but with the fall of the Soviet Union they were left in the dust their largest export was sugar cane and no one else would buy. Plus Cuba was never allowed to industrialize since the blockades destroyed any machinery that was considered dangerous. The U.S economy is crap with high poverty no mobility.

I've been to Venezuela many times and I've been open to see both sides of the issues. The only ignorant person in this video is Maria. Ask her about participatory democracy, the missions or the community councils. I'm sure that she would be the ignorant one in these issues. Corruption was worse before Chavez. The clash between the old constitution and the new one has made it slow in progress, but it is getting better. Neoliberalism destroyed Latin America and it could soon destroy our economy.

Seeing first hand how communities are allocating their own resources for development and seeing an old Colombian man regain his sight after 10 years thanks to free community clinic ran by Cuban doctors was inspirational. @louietesta in Venezuela we have power cuts on a daily basis, many basic goods dissapear from supermanrkets, in my city San Cristobal we have to line up for hours to put gas in our cars in acountry that used to produce 3.5 bd of oil and 2 million of products now produces 50% of this. Many TV and radio channels have been closed, murder rate has increasd 4 times since chavez took office and the rate in poor areas is even worse, people stay at home after dark we live in fear the country colapses
