skaha65 Happy that young people listen to these wonderful songs today. They have their own music now, but it doesen't compare. But that is only my opinion.
Could I fine a Time Machine that would take me back to this time. How I miss those days .The 40s,50s,& 60,s will never be duplicated.Just glade i was there
@pretzgolf1 I was just a child, but I remember my mom and dad and their friends would sing these songs while one played the piano. Great times, the way there were supposed to be
My parents house parties in the 50s always ended up in the doorway. They said goodbye for an hour. They always sang this song, among others. Great lyrics.
In the '50s we did not have a radio in the car so this was one of our favorite car songs. Mama taught me all of the great harmonies and this is just about the very best!
One of the greatest recordings of this wonderful song by a classic group. The group performing under this name on PBS specials sadly is never identified as a tribute group with none of the original members still performing. The Four Lads still have at least one original member.
Remember when "GANG" meant something honorable and decent. To that 'GANG THAT SANG HEART OF MY HEART". Come on peeps, get your kids together and crank this one up. It's for kids from 1-92. Come on, lets go!! Sincerely, Sgt. Ronald J. Campbell, U.S. Army, Ret.
My grandparents had some small gigs in vaud-ville and met Lucille Ball when she was a teen. I know I'm only 47, but who loves ya Al Alberts and the gang, I DO!! Sgt.l Ronald J Campbell, U.S. Army Ret.
Amazing! This is one of the first songs I ever remember learning and singing as a child, and it's still special for me today. Now if I can just learn to sing without killing all living things aorund me!
@Puzzler4879 Anyone that loves this rare gem is automatically blessed with a voice from God. Come on Puzzler 4879, get the kids, grandkids, and all the neighboorhood kids together and show them how beautiful a 'GANG" can be. GO FOR IT. Sincerely, Sgt. Ronald J. Campbell, U.S. Army, Ret.
I've got it on 78 rpm shellac. A fine song!
