OMG, i haven't heard this since the fall of 1987 when i had recorded it from my radio. i never knew they made a video for this song, so i'm 24 years late in seeing it.
Heavy bands like Leeway, Cro Mags and Motorhead got the Bone from Arista too. Really fucked up. Run-D.M.C. was the only group that was continued to be marketed by Arista. That's too bad. Those other groups were good too.
This should be on compact disc. it was only on cassette and vinyl. And when Arista bought Profile...they never brought it back out. Not even other artists like Murphy's Law or Rob Base And D.J. EZ Rock. Dunno why they slept on that music. Its really good music.
name any rapper and they will lyrically murder them! haha you caught me. i was hoping someone would not get my sarcasim and be like your fucking stupid and get all internet gangster on me. haha. you know youtubers. i was just testing the waters. no but this shit is a joke and borderline racist
Nah i was just bullshittin on that comment trying to see the responses all the internet gangsters would give me. not saying your one though. these fags aren't better than anybody...especially the folks i named like pac and the s.u.c.
I dont think this was in the top 40. I have the 45 rpm, and some embarassing memories.... I think it was the record companys were making so much money that a surf/rap combo sounded like a good idea...1987!!!
OMG ... i can't believe i actually purchased/played this back in tha day... Remember " Thats Cali For Ya " ?????...... I still got that horribly made tape around here somewhere ..... CLASSIC GARBAGE ...... If i ever wanna clear out a party / I'm gonna play this shit .... THANKS FOR POSTING !!!
Wow, I was there when these guys recorded in starlight sound. The record came out horrible and should have never been marketed as rap. The guys are actually real talented. Scott Roberts is One Drop Scott with over 45 album credits. Tony G is Tone Capone with lots of Platinum records He produced i got 5 on it one of the best hip hop jams of all time. Paul Xavier owns a media company specializing in music for film and video games. Ha mother fukin ha they made millions. Google and see!
OMG , I cant believe what i am seeing, i use to list to the tape when i was on my way to Hunington Beach from the valley (Lancaster California), I have been searching for a copy. would love to get the c.d. Btw
Loved the Video. To be 15 again! It was one of those deals I saw the video once. Went out and got the tape and lost it. Had some pretty cool tunes on it. Thanks for the video!
Watched, loved and recorded this incredible video from Yo! MTV Raps Europe, when it was aired in the 80s. Unfortunately my VHS recording died in the 90s and I've missed the Surf MC's ever since. Thanks cqz4oooo - I love this sh*t. Surf or die!
So rad

Probably the best non Phil Collins or Hall and Oates song ever created. The lead rapper's asshole used to clinch on the high notes the legend had it.
